At least he had a go. No shame in losing to that guy.

He gave it a decent go. You could tell when he got caught at the end of 6 that it was close to the end. Usyk was just starting to find his range. Bellew blowing really heavy, definitely weight took its toll especially at his age. On another note I’ve just seen betfair are offering 16/1 for usyk to be be pregnant by 2019 and Bellew the father!! I’m all up for good sportsmanship but come on Tone.... this is a touch too far

It will certainly be interesting to see how far he can go in the heavyweight division. I know nothing about boxing but I cant see him beating AJ or Wilder, he showed then he was open to a few shots from Bellew.

He beats Joshua. Hearn will feed Whyte to him first though

Rocky fielding outclassed by Canelo as expected.

Total mismatch. IMO totally wrong that fight went ahead, it was a serious mismatch where Fielding could have been seriously hurt. Canelo would have broke more sweat walking around forest park

What’s everyone’s plans tonight then? Frampton v Warrington for me but Im also looking forward to the chisora v Whyte fight.
What a bloody expensive night for boxing fans, hopefully it’s worth it

Hard to call as Warrington is improving all the time. Chisora v Whyte? Whyte on points I think but Chisora has got a second wind after that victory over Carlos Takam and can’t be discounted.

There’s some bollocks on PPV nowadays isn’t there? Okay, Whyte v Chisora just about scrapes a PPV because the first fight was great and I’m just about okay with it, but that Warrington v Frampton fight is a Channel 5-esque fight all day long. A bit of a domestic level ding-dong that I’d watch if I was mates with either of them or there wasn’t much else on - £20? Fuck off.
It should be on channel 5, at a push it should be on BT Sport 1, ridiculous on PPV, even worse when there’s a big-name heavyweight scrap on the same night.
BT Sport have lessened the Champions League by knicking it off ITV and putting it all behind their subscription and they’re doing the same with non-Matchroom boxing.

I am fucked if I am paying £20 when I already pay £60 per month for BT. PPV is bollocks, but if it is used for true superfights, I can just about bear it. Not for fights like these.

I blame Sky for the lot really. Before them there were just free channels with adverts or advertless channels that you paid for - Sky came along and charged you for channels with more (and longer) adverts than you’ve ever known and us mugs went along with it. Now you’ve got adverts on things that you’ve paid £20 for, all wrapped up in the near-death of boxing. I hope things like Netflix kills the lot of it.

Whyte and Del Boy did it again! Cracking scrap. I had it scored differently to the judges at the time as I had whyte ahead as I felt the quality shots came from him. Del Boy in fantastic shape but that left hook would have taken out any heavyweight on the planet.
Only just caught up with Warrington v frampton, Warrington putting on the kind of performance you saw Ricky Hatton doing. 100mph intense, gutsy and a man on a mission. He very nearly had frampton out of there. Both blokes in incredible shape, again.

Only just watched the Pacqiao fight. Wow that Broner is something else. He actually thinks he is good but my god he is awful. A very easy nights work for manny against a bloke that doesn’t like throwing a punch.
On another note as did anyone see Badou jacks face? One of the worst cuts I’ve seen in many a year on his forehead, I personally think it should have been stopped

Slightly off topic Frank Warren is reviving the Royal Albert Hall as a venue, with a show in early March. Hopefully the RAH will become a regular venue in London again.

He also seems not quite right in the head.

Complete total mismatch I wonder how Mayweather would have faired against him if he were allowed to kick and McGregor allowed to grapple? Boxing wise both opponents were out of their depth

The Pac vs Broner fight was really nothing special except to see what an amazing Champ Pac is. But I could have saved the $65. Went to see the Andrade fight at MSG on Fri night, also not too exciting. Linares got taken out in the 1st round of his fight - tough to watch. Next up Thurman coming back at the Barclays on Sat. Great fighter but long lay off.

I know cano as heavy hands but I just could not see anything other than a linares shutout. Looking forward to seeing Thurman back

Cano completely overpowered Linares - it was just too big of a step up. My ring physician friend was't working the fight but she was able to get me moved up to ringside with her for the Andrade fight. Hoping there will be more fireworks at the Barclays next weekend!

You too mate, will be good to see Thurman back in action. Some real good fights in that division to be had. It seems Andrade is ruling out the possibility of BJS and now looking for the GGG fight. Hopefully you have a great night Saturday bud

Joshua v Jarrell Miller next up......yawn. And they are putting tickets on sale this Friday for a fight June 1st. Just looked at Crawford vs Khan $250 for a seat I would usually pay maybe $125 for. I expect it to be the same for AJ's fight even though nobody and I mean nobody knows who tf he is here.. I like BBM, seen him a couple of times at the Barclays but top of the bill at MSG.. ughhh
