I think this fight has shown Joshua's limitations. Glad I didn't pay for that. I think this fight has shown that Joshua can win tactically as well as with his power, the ref didn't allow the fight to flow / anyone to finish the fight. AJ controlled that fight from beginning to end! Against a very limited fighter. I agree on the referee, he was abysmal. Joshua has talent, don't get me wrong, his guard is good and his stamina held up considering he is so muscular. On the negative side, when Parker actually attacked him, Joshua looked lost. People on here were saying he would thrash Parker, so I think it's fair to say you aren't impressed when he failed to do so. To be honest, I think Joshua's the best of a bad bunch. Wilder has no technique whatsoever, Povetkin looks on the way out, and Fury is just awkwardly effective. Parker is John Ruiz without the punch.

Wow glad I didn't pay for that absolute bore fest. However, Joshua has proved he can actually box instead of knocking everyone out all the time, tactics perfect, I had it 117/111 Parker didn't do enough, only maybe Fury can trouble Joshua I think.

I bet on Joshua to win by decision, so I am glad he boxed! Had Povetkin to win in 4, so just missed out on a nice double. Fury and Joshua would be very interesting; think you might be right. Styles make fights.

Unconvincing from AJ... On that showing Wilder will tear him a new one... I don't think so. Joshua did what he had to do last night. Parker's no bum, and he just kept him at arm's length (literally) for 12 rounds and dominated the centre of the ring. He knew he was well ahead on the cards so why risk getting KO'd himself by going for an unnecessary knock out? It was professional- and he'll fight very differently against Wilder. Wilder looked very vulnerable against Ortiz a couple of weeks ago. He's got devasting punching power and a great chin but he's very open to being hit. Joshua's a technician as well as having the power and speed- he'll exploit any gaps that Wilder leaves when he gets excited and starts swinging like a madman. It'll be a closely-matched fight, but you can't say Wilder will 'tear him a new one' based on the evidence of last night.

Tyson Fury would box Joshua's ears off if he comes back in any form of conditioning.

I thought we saw a different side to AJ last night, his footwork was very good, not got a single mark on him. Proved he can go 12 rounds against someone with fast hands. He ticked a few more boxes off last night. Fury is at least 12 months away from fighting AJ yet, wilder will always have a punchers chance but for me AJ beats him.

Finally someone who knows what they are talking about, people saying fury will box the head off Joshua not a chance, 2 years ago maybe not now, the Improvement under rob McCracken is huge.

Yep Channel 492 on Sky Sports Box Office. Only £19.95. Get on it for the best seat in the house SGS Watching it in ultra HD for less than one hours pay and guaranteed to see it all without any hitches. Easy. I found myself a picture perfect stream, and didn't have to pay those sky cunts a penny in the end ;-)

I thought joshua looked a bit vulnerable against klichko where as fury looked comfortable, could be that klichko boxed better against joshua and slightly flattered fury I'm not sure. I'd say right now a fit fury would beat joshua purely on boxing ability. wilder on the other hand has the potential to trouble both with his power, although his last fight was not convincing I thought he was up against a very tough opponent who was more than matching wilder for most of the fight.

Canelo finally spoke on his clenbuterol saga, obviously denying it but he must have cheated cause apparently you have to eat about 300 pieces of meat to have the same amount in your system that was shown up. He kept repeating " I'm a clean fighter" and going on about his last negative drug tests. It's about now Canelo not the past. Everything about him and his promotion team stinks, lots of other controversies too from hand wraps with Smith and ggg to the weigh in issue which looked very suspicious indeed and the draw with golovkin especially the 118-110 card, I had it a draw but that scorecard is the worst I've seen in the past of boxing ever! Fights been cancelled.

Selby v Warrington on BT for those interested. Could be a decent punch up.
Leeds fans classy as always, attacking selbys car as he approached the stadium

Leeds fans classy as always, attacking selbys car as he approached the stadium I’ve seen Warirington box in Leeds and it’s not for the faint hearted. They even fight amongst themselves. Fair play to the lad for pulling it out of the bag, I’ve not seen the fight yet but Selby is someone I rate highly and I thought he’d do the business. If Warrington defends against Frampton in Belfast, I can only see Frampton winning that one.

Selbys face ended up a bit of a bloodied mess because of accidental head clashes. Warrington fought with fantastic tenacity, it reminded me in a way of when Hatton fought kosta tyszu, that intensity. It’s a real shame he hasn’t got a bit of a punch though. Hopefully Frampton v Warrington will happen now, could be a nightmare make as Warrington can draw in over 20k at Leeds and frampton the same at Windsor Park lol

Come on folks it’s time this thread was alive and kicking again. Some cracking fights ahead of us. Tomorrow night could be one of the best nights the country as ever seen. All the belts up for grabs, the self proclaimed fat scouser against a formidable talent. I’ll be cheering on Bellew and wish him the very best of luck but Usyk looks like he’s on a different level. Hopefully Bellew manages to unearth that big right hand and do the unthinkable

Glad it isn't me getting in the ring with him, but I am going. The missus got me tickets for my quite significant birthday. Will be amazing if Bellew wins. Although unlikely. Actually I don't think he would lay a glove on me. If I stick my belly on his six pack I don't think his arms will be long enough to reach me.

Hoping for the impossible tonight. Usk in the newly energerised cruiser division looks irresistible, and seems a genuinely nice guy. He may be the one to end Joshua’s hegemony at heavyweight in the near future? However, Bellew is a cannier boxer than he was even a few short years ago and you can never write him off. Good luck Bomber!

Good luck Bomber! The only thing I noticed from the above clip was a possible opening for Bellew's left hook over the dropped right hand. Not saying that Bellew will win, but it gives him a squeak.
