Anyone else playing it picked it up for £25 off amazon second hand for my ps the other day. I had played the trial on my Xbox ea access and was a bit disappointed but after the patches it's not bad starting to get into the side quests now and feel more for the characters anyone else got an opinion on it

I was well into the original. This whole new galaxy idea was a chance for Bioware to spread their wings and soar but it feels a bit like they face planted into concrete then pulled themselves up and stumbled on from there. The characters look like play-doh and except for the big lizard and maybe the blue chick they were pretty boring. At the beginning your guns suck so each mission feels like tedious work of loading enough pellets into each of the baddies to make them explode.
I stuck with it though and it picked up a lot after that once I got a Black Widow rifle and learned to ignore almost all of the side missions. Stick to "priority ops", "allies and relationships" and settling each planet and it's fun. The worlds look awesome as well but you gotta avoid all the random tasks of "find 23 plants" or "deliver 6 packages". Still a let down overall for me.
How far you into it?

Not far on the main story I'm just drifting around going from quest to quest settled 2 planets completely working on a third finding its bit like fallout 4 where I'm Enjoying doing the side quests as there doesn't seem any rush to finish the story
