Definitely not. 36 points might even be enough this year. I doubt it will - certainly Sunderland and boro won't get that but I'd be willing to bet Hull and Swansea do. For Stoke to fail to get any more points would require a run of ten straight defeats. And as we know Hughes teams are always stronger in the second half of the season (that's right isn't it??)

Looking at it now and the games in hand teams have on us. It's a much bigger possibility than I thought! Fucking hell.

if we didn't have Arnie this season I am certain we would be going down I think Lee Grant has been the key player for survival.

Lose the next 2 games (wouldn't be surprised at this stage) and heads will be down more than ever - relegation will be on then!

Its not even the fact that we're too good to go down, its because there are actually worse teams than us surprisingly.

The three teams currently in the relegation zone will be the ones to go down at the end of the season, however we are shit and unless there is a huge change over the summer we are candidates next season without a doubt.

Looking at it now and the games in hand teams have on us. It's a much bigger possibility than I thought! Fucking hell. Wow you're right. I hadn't noticed the games in hand. But if it gets really close, the players will start trying again and grind out a win or a few draws. So I think it's extremely likely that Stoke will be playing a 10th season in the Premier League. Ten seasons! Did anyone expect that in 2008? Next year could be bad though. Low double digits seems to be the limit for smaller (both fanbase and money) clubs. I think Bolton lasted 10 or 11 years. Fulham might have had around 12. Most clubs of Stoke's size and money don't last nearly as long. While it might feel that you have been underperforming, the reality is that you've been overperforming ever since promotion.

however we are shit and unless there is a huge change over the summer we are candidates next season without a doubt. ALL the teams outside the top third are relegation candidates EVERY year. Sometimes I think there's a huge luck and randomness factor in which teams get relegated. I think you have to trust Peter Coates. He's barely made any mistakes other than a few dud signings which happens to every team from Chelsea on down.

One more win and we'll be safe enough but it can't come quick enough for me.
Massive regression from last year though. Fucking Palace could go above us with their games in hand.

We won't go down this season. If we start next season with this management team and this squad of over paid prima donna underachievers we will go down next season.
Either way we will take a big hit on Shaqiri and Imbula. Bojan, Joselu and Wollscheidwill be on bigger wages than other clubs in Germany and Spain can pay so we risk getting snookered with them. We're not quite QPR yet but Hughes had posed the club some tricky questions.

Wouldn't write it off I think we're fortunate to have a few really shit teams below us but this is embarrassingly bad We're wank. We're clueless. And I'm now certain Hughes has lost the dressing room. A few is one too little! There has to be three below us for Stoke to survive! P.S. A couple more points should see us safe?

Not going to happen, as shit as we are.
