what rule number is that then, Ive never heard or seen it before? Honestly not sure mate. Got told this at the ground at few weeks back when I asked about how away allocation works. The only way clubs like Man Utd would ever offer us 7000 seats is if they get relegated and come back though. Not sure how this will affect Spurs at Wembley, but pretty sure with a ground that size, and with it being under the F.A. that they will have to give 10% to away fans. I think somebody has been pulling your chain mate. For league games it's 3,000 max or 10% of the capacity, if that figure is less than 3,000. West Ham have been relegated several times and they don't have to offer 10% of their total capacity.

Even as big a team as spurs are. Would they gamble on giving just 3.000 and there are loads of empty seats every home game? I honestly think there's a possibility of around 10.000 made available to away fans.. Leaving 80.000 for home fans. Big jump from 36.000 to 80.000 ? Need to find 44.000 extra fans?

I thought Brent council only allowed them to have 60,000 tickets for match day, to appease the locals, imagine the upheaval every other week with circa 90K fans on their doorsteps, though I dare say the local boozers and shops are relishing it. Surely the stadium wasn't built on the pretence it wasn't used too much! Bizarrely it was. The council had previously restricted his many matches could take place, which is partially why the youth teams don't play there. Last it gives Spurs the chance to practice ground sharing with the NFL though

Somebody suggested Twickenham.. Maybe that was a better option.

Make 'em ground share with The Arse. Leave the National stadium to the Nation..... and Robbie Williams gigsĀ And bring back the greyhound racing.

New Wembley is about as much use as New Labour with Blair. A total abomination! In what sense? It's an absolutely fantastic stadium.

Expensive but look, it's the national stadium for the nost popular sport. It's only right it's the best it can be and in this case you get what you paid for.

In what sense? It's an absolutely fantastic stadium. It is indeed. Expensive but look, it's the national stadium for the nost popular sport. It's only right it's the best it can be and in this case you get what you paid for. Indeed! I've been to watch Stoke, England and the NFL in there and each time was in a different part of the ground, with a different need for the occasion and it delivered. With us it was about making it special and it was that, even when we lost. With England it was about essentially showing off England. And it does that wonderfully by being what it is, traditional as its Wembley, having history about with the statues and things and also showing off top class architecture and design. And for the NFL you need razzmatazz, over the top Americaness and it does it with aplomb. It's a pile of piss to get to and from too. I've sat in the gods in third tier and the view was still as good as it is in club Wembley. I love going there.

The new Wembley is like every other soulless box of a ground that has been erected, always seems half empty at one side of the ground too. Could they find yet another way to devalue the FA cup - apparently they can Agree about Wembley = it just doesn't feel like a proper sports venue. You get sense that its all about processing and fleecing the punters - it doesn't really matter if they've come to watch a football game or a pop concert. There are exceptions, I really like the Millenium (now Principiality) Stadium in Cardiff. I know it was built for rugby but it just feels like it was built and run be people who understand sport and generates a great atmosphere.

Will it just be league games that they are playing, or will their domestic cup and European games also be there.
