Im looking for a finely detailed chain of livingstone daisies around my wrist. Ive heard the one in Biddulph is good at that kind of thing, but also heard good stuff about the one in Stone. Would also need them to design it for me from my rough sketches.
Any recommendations guys? x

There's meant to be a good one in Wolstanton who's been doing it years but I don't know his name, so see if anyone else recommends him (I've always been a wuss about tattoos).

and why do you want that around your wrist ??? My Dad passed away in March after a long battle with cancer. Since I was a little girl he grew livingstone daisies every summer. I associate them with him and wanted something that I could look at and remember him by.

normal people go and visit the grave and place flowers etc As there is no grave (he was cremated and his ashes are at my Mums house), its a bit difficult to visit it. So this makes me abnormal does it? For wanting something to remember my Dad by? What does that make people who have Mum and Dad on their knuckles then?

Cavemen.
And no, I think its right you want to remember your dad, who wouldn't. But getting a tatoo isnt the way to go about remebering him (IMO)

I don't think he would have minded one bit, no. He had no tattoo's himself, but he supported me whatever decision I ever made in my life (and believe me I made some bad ones!)
When life is a bit shit and Im down, wherever I am I can look down at my wrist and I will always think of him and know he is with me.

well in that case Miss Piggy, you go for it girl.
Just think you'll regret it in later life (like a lot of my friends now do)

Its not a decision I took lightly, I have 2 tatts (both nicely hidden so I can show them if I choose to), and the one on my wrist will be no different. Im planning it quite small and intricate so it can be covered by my watch if I want it hidden for some reason. The way I see it, regretting tattoo's is pointless, they symbolise a part of your life and stamp that time on your skin, be it good or bad. Life is too short for regrets is one thing I have learned over what has been a very difficult 12 months.
Thing with this one is it is so special i want to be 100% certain of the artist doing it, and his abilities, hence the thread.

I want one too and always have, but want it to mean something and be inportant to me.... but can never quite decide what to have. I think I have made my mind up but then I'm not sure, so up to now I have avoided having one!
Oh the decisions! lol

..and all the girls that have them on the top of their arse. How common. But I think Miss Piggy has given it careful consideration so fair play
