Some, though riproar says loads, of catholic priests and celebs did use their positions to abuse folk but not the catholic faith itself. No way am I defending these scum but they didn't deliberately target a different religions children unlike the muslim paedophiles (not using grooming word)and this is in present times and they are not in positions of authority as such.
And as for incoming immigration checks, what about all the illegals who sneak in? They are not checked and even when they are, they fool officials into thinking they are kids when they are really adults so I'm sure other irregularities occur upon checking credentials.

Big difference is though, if it was an organized ring of white paedos, in the greater community, as opposed to establishments like the BBC, or The Catholic Church, do you thing they would have been protected by their own community , do you think a wall of silence would have gone up, would it bollocks, decency and a high moral duty to either grass them up, or turn on them in vigilante style attacks would have certainly happened.

Great stuff there mate, except neither article shows examples of "authorities have known they are serious criminals, but still let them into the country" as was the query put to you by RRP. The examples you've raised are down to problems with the sharing of intelligence, rather than knowingly letting criminals in. Hopefully the new vetting system we put into place when we leave the EU will stop such criminals coming over though and if that's the case then it's a definite positive. |

often wondered if the scene from Law Abiding Citizen where Gerrard Butler straps his wife and daughters murdered/rapist down and keeps him awake/able to feel yet paralysed and takes him apart piece at a time is possible and maybe it should be used in cases where the guilty (regardless of race/religion) has committed crimes so abhorrent that they have stepped below the level that makes you human, but then what if we got an innocent man?
