The past is just that, Saido is now a Stokie, bugger his old club, bugger his old manager. Now I hope he starts, runs around like Jon on speed, bags a brace or three, poses in front of the technical area, winks at Pulis then cups his own bollocks.

Sounds he should have rolled over like an obedient puppy and handed over the 3 points you mean? Or maybe just acted with a modicum of class? Yet you had no problem with Bowen and Bojan showing a lack of class in return. Strange that... He wanted the club that now employs him to win. If he wanted his new club to lose that would be 10 times worse.

I spoke to tony regular.he loved this club and supporters...fact.name a premier league manager who would ring you up and sort a pub in Newport when we plaid Cardiff away! Rory and tony would do anything to help anyone with balls..tickets...old kit...even go behind the clubs back when they turned them away for requests.sine he left..i will quote him..."this is just work.stoke was home" we all may disagree on football styles but please understand. He loves stoke.

This might be a stupid question, but why was this never published at the time? Do the FA not announce when a player has had a seriously hefty ban thrown at them anywhere? I can understand WBA wanting to keep it quiet when they were trying to maintain his value, but I can't believe that the FA would want to hush it up or act with discretion. Other players have been all over the papers when similar bans have been enforced. Regardless of who did what, it's disappointing news. I hope we can break some of his bad habits, because there were a lot of promising signs on Wednesday night. If it's a failed drugs test in after match testing it's a 2 year ban as they count it as cheating, as this was not a match situation they treat it differently and offer counselling as if it were an addiction. I know I needed to be tanked up to watch Pulisball away from home so I can well imagine training for it and playing it might push it one step further.

He loves stoke. I understand where you are coming from & I know other fans have had similar experiences with TP that you have. However to my mind there can be no doubt that TP was responsible for the leak to the Mail about Berahino's ban & the quotes on the BBC today are astonishing in their complete lack of professionalism & disrespect to both e player & also to Stoke City He clearly is shitting himself about the player scoring tomorrow. The theories that TP didn't want him to sign for Stoke are looking more & more correct by the hour.

On West Brom's forum If you're reading this mate, I miss Pulis like I miss having being kicked in the bollocks. 540 pages of the Tony Pulis thread on their forum suggests they might just be a tad obsessed with him too!

If he wanted his new club to lose that would be 10 times worse. Pulis showed a lack of class in behaving how he did towards a (former) club and set of fans that he's always claimed to have a special affinity with, the rimmers on here have tried to back that up on many occasions. There's many ways of showing you want to win without behaving in that manner. I'm struggling to understand your point regarding Bojan and Bowen if I'm honest..

I haven't trawled through this thread because I can't be arsed but I'm going to take a wild guess that this has spiralled into another Capped One debate?
Very surprising, that never happens on here.

How are people still getting in a fit about TP?
His comments (on the BBC website) aren't exactly wrong are they?
Some of you guys just need to accept that TP was fantastic for his football club. He had his limitations, hence why we moved on and now he's busy focusing on trying to be successful with a different club.
Someone brought up the Crystal Palace celebration - what exactly did you expect him to do? Just stand and admire the view? We did sack him after all!

TP was the best manager Stoke ever had since Waddo. Got us into the Prem, established us there, got us to our first ever FA Cup final and made some very shrewd signings. Some of which are still doin the biz even now well into their 30's.
What an ungrateful lot you are !

Fantastic servant to SCFC who is now doing a good job for the Baggies. What do people expect him to do when they score? How he gets blamed for this "leak" is beyond me. Reading the news articles it could be argued that he was trying to protect Berahino.

I like TP and wouldn't give him any stick for all that he's done for us, but i said it weeks ago. It was TP who has stalled the Berahino deal without a doubt. It's also TP who would be the driving force to target the stoke home game for home fans tickets at £15 a go so they get a sell out. They couldn't fill it for Man utd home, nor the games since, but i know, let's reduce them for the stoke game.
Make no mistake. TP targets two games a season, Stoke home and stoke away. I bet if you could ask the WBA players they'd tell you that there's been a difference and intesity to training this week.

Asked whether Hughes was the man to help Berahino, Pulis said: "Personally, I don't give a damn now. I've spent two and a half years at this club and he's not my problem anymore." Cunt!!!!....not you I mean Pulis😀 So if your job depended on someone else pulling their weight and they werent pullin their weight, when they eventually moved on to another firm, you wouldnt say "good riddance"... or possibly something harsher? You're a better man than me mate... that's obviously just a saying, not a fact.
