Snodgrass clearly cheated by diving to get the penalty for Hull against Palace. In normal speed it looked a penalty but when slowed down Dann never touched him.its hard enough for the referees and If we want to stamp out cheating from the game he needs to be banned for a few weeks.

I see the cheating Cnut has apologised on Twitter tonight but he's been doing for years and anyone at Norwich a few seasons back will remember how he conned the ref into a free kick which they scored from.Once a cheat always a cheat

This sort of shit seems to be getting worse with a least one high diving diva a week, last week it was Deli Counter. It's ruining the game, start dishing out big bans and fine and cut this crap out

Absolutely. He is an absolute tosser but his antics have gone under the radar because he's always played for shit, no mark clubs. Spot on Dave he's been doing it for years This is a difficult one really because if the ref misses a dive the team its against do not get any benefit of retrospective action. Also the penalty now for a dive spotted by the ref is a yellow card so they sill keep trying it. Punishment should be a yellow card if the ref spots it. However, if the ref is conned the player should receive a 3 match ban. It wont help the team offended against but in time should stop it

Sorry, but another thing I've been banging on about. Retrospective bans should be done irrespective of who it is. Cannot stand cheating in any way shape or form. Apologising after the event is a load of you know what. Ban them. End of!

Until someone gets a 10 match ban for cheating it will never end It just doesn't make sense that this hasn't happened already. Surely a minimum of a three game ban is the very LEAST that should happen for this type of incident? I can't remember the one from last weekend, but there was one then too. The sooner it is introduced the better.

Now the arsehole admits it was never a penalty but he thought the defender was going to slide tackle him. What hypocritical bollocks

It's pretty easy for him to say "I was just trying to ride the tackle to prevent injury" even if that's the case something still has to be done because it's costing teams like Palace valuable points.

I have no sympathy for Palace. They are (were) one of the worst offenders for blagging penalties. Every team does it so it is a level playing field as far as the clubs are concerned. It seems that it is only some of the fans who are offended by it. Personally, I despise it and would like to see retrospective bans. I hate seeing our players do it. I include falling over under minimal contact as part of the same problem.

problem is most try and do it now. With what's at stake, its probably worth going down. If you get touched, you're bound to go down looking for something.
If they want to stop it, try straight red cards or maybe a 3 match ban. None of this points deduction rubbish though.

I blame the referee. If he hasn't actually seen a foul, or sure, or not advised by other officials, he shouldn't give a foul.
I know from experience it is very difficult to be sure of what happened and that a lot of fouls could go unpunished by the referee, assistant, or 4th official, but the authorities can review the match with experts and handout punishments as they see fit. If defenders know their actions are going to be scrutinised after the match, they would commit fewer fouls, or be suspended more.

Said this many times before that there should be a panel looking at these incidents like they do for violent conduct. If it is shown that the cheating directly caused a goal to be scored than that should be scratched and the final result changed. It would stop it over night because it would be pointless gaining an advantage by cheating. Of course there must be no right of appeal against a goal being scrubbed as a result of cheating. The idea of heavy bans or fines is ok until the result of a game becomes say a life line to a relegation threatened club. Players would happily cheat and take the consequences if it meant an FA Cup win, European place or sending another team down.

The Zahu penalty which the ref gave against Snodgrass presumably to level things up.
That wasn't a penalty either was it? It seemed like Zahu turned through 180 degrees and threw himself over Snodgrass' standing leg or did I miss something?

A retrospective 6 game ban needs bringing in,then 12 games if repeated, doubling every time the scumbags cheat, without pay.

Also plied his trade at Birmingham, Everton, Fulham and QPR, made for a very uncomfortable afternoon whenever we came up against him. He couldn't retire soon enough for me!

Charlie wins numerous fouls. " through a fall." game after game albeit in midfield or on the touchline. Where's the condemnation then? Get over it !!! It's being going on for decades. The difference now is the perpetrators get caught on camera. It's called gamesmanship. FFS
