Seem to have developed a liking for mini cheddars again. It'll probably wear off but there's just enough in a bag from a multi pack. Have you tried the Branston pickle flavour mini cheddars? They are exquisite. Didn't know they existed, next on the list. 👍

Homed in on the orange 'bargain' label, itsu beef twerky... "dried, lean, teriyaki beef jerky, the delicious high protein snack." Hafe price at a quid. Let's see...
mmm... better than last night's tasteless chew... Still not massively convinced I'm buying into the hype of buying seasoned Doc Marten leather offcuts for strong dollar.
I've got a dehydrater, might look into making some of me own. Owd shoes, leather jerkins and such.
Reached a jerky dead end toneet, and think this time I've devoured the stabilizing sachet. Can't find it.

Just procured a bag of the Branston MC's. Ok. Been mixed in with Sour Cream and chive GW Saucers. I'm the least enthusiastic of the chompers... but the power ballads on the jukebox are a tad off putting. I'm non comittal.

Capitalism in action in the world of crisps/savoury snacks.. reaching the point where crisps will eat themselves, tooo much choice...
Seen some Dorito 'Collisions' or somesuch earlier, Gaucamole and chilli in the mix up. It's all going a bit nuts.
I've rebelled, defected to Heron Foods, gone owd schooo. Nik Naks, Discos, Seabrooks, Space Raiders, Scampi/Bacon Fries multipack and so forth.
Walkers Ready Salted still the most exalted of crisps imo.

One to avoid. In Sainsbugs in leek the other day and came across Walkers Beef and Onion crisps, which I thought had gone completely off the radar. Had to be done. Multipack so small bags, ripped one open the moment I got home only to bite into the most awful taste ever. Absolutely nothing like they used to be. Forewarned etc...

Totally agree had a pack the other week had a slight stale taste Even me spaniel took a second look before consuming the rest Hasn’t been a decent mainstream beef Crisp since the b.s.e induced demise of smiths bovril

Alpen Light Salted Caramel Bars.
New Doritos Bits BBQ snacks {in a small slim pack}
graze mini protein balls, coconut & cashew butter {similar slim pack, lower case g presumably intentional}.
.. and some happeas earlier....
Faux snackage in fancy packaging is a downer. Not sure where to place the commas nor question marks, capitals or owt.
What's it all about?

Just found an absolute gem of snack from Lidl. Alesto cruspies. Wasabi coated peanuts. Fantastic thick coating of wasabi with a proper kick to them. You can't miss em.

Anybody tried the Walkers max strong jalepeno and cheese crisps? Nice but by far the hottest crisps I've tasted.

Loving the Walkers Local Favourite Flavours multipack. Not a massive fan of Pickled Scotland, but loving being re-aquainted with Marmite flavoured {South West}. Good stuff.
Also liking the SunBites, almost Bacon Fry crisp.

Also liking the SunBites, almost Bacon Fry crisp. Have you tried the Aldi Sunbites? Snackrite is the brand and their Sweet Chilli Sunbites piss all over their Walkers counterparts. I've just bought a large packet of Co-op's Sweet Chilli crisps, hoping they're as good as their Chardonnay vinegar and sea salt flavour. I'll update later when I've had a few more beers and don't feel as guilty about nailing the whole packet to me sen.

Funnily enough I was trying to find out who the maker of the SunBites was, I didn't have a magnifying glass to hand, but Walkers makes sense, all the info obfuscated by health and allergy advice. As you say I'm a fan of Aldi's faux brand approach, their version of Wotsits and whatnot are mint. Hussar for Co ops Chardonnay tongue wringers.

Some of Aldi's own brand snacks are awesome and their Sunbites have got twice the flavour in every bite of the walkers ones. I love their Monster Claws Beef flavour, they taste nowt like Beef Monster munch but they've got a really weird but wonderful flavour to them.

Got me eye on Co-Ops clear bag, mixed colour/flavour cranberry & Brie xmass tortilla triangles, but holding off.
In the meantime remaining fairly old school.
Smiths multipack to get at the salt & vinegar, and a Walkers' Beef & Onion/Wotsit mix up.
Annnnd multipacks of Scampi/Bacon Fries going cheap in B&M, and Heron etc...
Roasted almonds.
Don't think I'd eat seeds in a boozer, the teeth dislodgement necessary ain't so coool in public. But I do like 'em.

Did you try the Branston mini Cheddars yet, Chuff? Not yet I'm afraid, still on the lookout they must have passed Biddulph by. Either that or I'm not looking hard enough!. You can usually rely on Home Bargains to have the less mainstream stuff. 🤔
