That's the ones with a bit of meat and an occasional piece that's as hard as diamond Pork scratchings, dentists' friends. Not as much as Walkers Treacle Toffee, I bet! See how many fillings you've got left after a session on THAT!

No I only risk toffee at xmas and then do some tentative chewing. My last food related filling loss was courtesy of a Wrights Brick. Took a molar down. It's a big human design fault we should have at least three sets of teeth throughout life. I'd love to think there were more to come to replace those fowing out now. Or we could be like sharks.

One of life's great dilemmas, whether to break into a note for the sake of a big bag of GW Cheeesy Footballs or not?
Salt and Vinegar sticks are big news, if slightly acidic.

The Mr. Tubbs flavoured pork crunch are a bit of a lacklustre flop unfortunately. Snyder's have introduced a less 'heat seeking' sundried tomato variety to the pretzel pieces. Nice.
Current top savoury chewings...
1. Golden Wonder cheese footballs 2. Golden Wonder Salt & Vinegar sticks 3. Co-op whole roasted & salted almonds 4. Scampi fries 5. Spar own Bacon Frazzles

For anybody who Is partial to a Salt & Vinegar crisp, I urge you to try Co-op's own brand 'Irresistible' Sea Salt & Chardonnay Wine Vinegar Crisps. They are unbelievable, might even be too strong for some, if such a thing exists. Your taste buds may need a day to fully recover.

Managed to hijack the snack man outside the boozer yesterday. Turns out he's a big Northern Soul dude on the Cheshire Talc scene.
Confirmed that Mr.Tubby's 'ain't all that'. And that Snyder's Pretzel pieces have blown the job wide open. Agreed to provide some HobGoblin Crisps. Nice.

This week Aldi Snackrite Smoky Bacon from the meat variety cheapo multi pack have smashed the charts. The Yushoi baked pea soy and balsamic vinegar are interesting, if a tad dry but mixed with a bag of wotsits, cheezy peas ideal. Co op baked whole almonds for the current nut best option. Beef jerky's good too. And rediscovered a penchant for Bombay Mix.

Had some samples of the Snaffling Pig range of triple cooked scratching/puff pork savoury snack.
Chilli - hot hot hot. Outrageously so. Caustic. Oooo..mother. Maple - mmmmm maple roast ham, not sure regarding scratchings. Too sweet. Salt & vinegar - sweet enough. Sound snack. Counter active calmers to the vvvv hot chilli. Barbecue - cracking.
The real thing come in fancy jars.. Featured on Dragons Den.
Depends on the retail point of sale price... i'm provisionally in.

Xmas run up often salty snack nirvana. Nuts and such.
Roast Turkey and Stuffing crisps nowt special, holding fire before I get too cynical, stuffing mesen with black pitted olives, ready salted Walkers, Golden Wonder Salt & Vinegar sticks, salt & vinegar peanuts and cheesy moments. Sometimes a mix.
We're on the cusp of unusual savoury snack and cracker season. Looking forward to some cheese straw pastry twist things etc.
Any reports?

Yes top notch, but they do give me awful indigestion. Worth the pain though.

Check out the Aldi Lattice crisps. Cheese and Onion and Salt and Vinegar. Very nice and gluten free for those who are intolerant or allergic.
Big bag for around a quid.

Oh yes, it's the vfm factor that prevents them from challenging at the moment. Quite fond of them Cheese Moments too, though I know they can be divisive and similarly suffer in pack size imo. Never been fond of pretzels but those Snyder pieces are a revelation, like dentist friendly pork scratchings, a bit like those mini garlic breads {which I havn't seen in ages.} Hot as heck too. Oi

They taste of something but it sure isn't dairy related. 😝

Conna beat a Wotsit. Though the Aldi version are on a par, imo.

I scandalously overlooked the peanut family in my earlier post.
KP or Nobby's salted, dry roasted, salt and vinegar and chilli.
I can't rank the flavours as they all have their own place and their own role.
