Rod passed away a few hours after watching his beloved Stoke City, on Tuesday morning We traveled far and wide watching Stoke in the depths of the third level on to the glory of The Prem. We were shit on by blackberry eating birds at Chesterfield. Left the tickets on the mantle piece when we got to Rotherham had to get new ones and sit in seats that were designed for small people. Tom had his knees around his ears. I have a huge amount of wonderful memories of Rod, Tom and me Mooseman to hold on to. We will miss him forever. For Stokies that knew Rod he bore a striking resemblance to Noddy Holder he was big and opinionated loved Stoke and his friends.

Shocked to hear this. Knew Rod well. Used to go drinking with him and Tom round castle back in the day. Good times. Last I saw of him was in the Full Moon banging the skins with his band The Grimm which included Tom on Guitar. A sound bloke and a great loss. R.I.P mate.
