Goodness knows why but I voted last chance saloon next weekend. A loss at home on Saturday then he has to go. Completely agree - there can be no coming back from a defeat at home to West Brom this time. If it's 4-0 then there can be no doubt. I'd like him to turn it around but I'm dreading next week already and can see it being a disaster.

It was always coming like some Greek play where the mother shags the son then he kills his father, Pulis will have a deciding influence on Mark Hughes future at Stoke. Saturday will be a massive, massive game, make or break for Mark.
Time will tell if the capped coot will be dancing a merry jig down the touchline like last time, relishing in out misfortune, or we destroy them (by a 4 goal minimum).

It was in my mind to say sack now but, on reflection, I wouldn't want to baptise a new manager by going up against a pulis team
So it's one more game for me.
I've never been convinced by our defence, even with the 9th place finishes.... and the way Charlie has been dropped is more baffling than when he first came in and split one of, if not, thee best CB pairing in the premiership by selling Huth

Give the new manager his first game away at Old Trafford. There's no need to put everyone through Saturday. The scars may linger long after Hughes inevitably goes. He needs to go now, today. We've then got a chance to perk everyone up for Saturdays game and a go at 3 important points. Wednesday V Hull doesn't really matter as things stand.

We are playing TP's team......even if we got someone in so quickly it'd have to be a great magician to win that one away at man united is more winnable

Tony will stick the knife in on Saturday.
Tony Pulis the set piece king VS our lads who look like they've never faced a corner in their lives.

Definitely no. Why?
1. Hughes has done a lot for the club over 3 years and doesn't warrant tossing out as soon as things get tough due to an unending run of injuries. All our games so far this season have been against teams either in cracking form or really "up for it" on the day, which also applies now to WBA who had a great win on Saturday. We need to keep Hughes till we have played through to November, then we can make a fair judgement.
2. Anyone voting to sack him needs to be clear who they would realistically get in to replace him. Some of the current managers "available" are failures and some of the names being mentioned are unrealistic. As with top players, you are not going to get top managers used to managing CL teams coming to Stoke. Any decent manger will not want to join a club that sacks their manager who has just achieved three top half finishes as soon as there is a run of poor results on the back of injuries. The only sort manager we would get at the moment would be one desperate for a job and will accept anything, or wanting to step up to a level they have never managed at before. There is no point in jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. Hughes has always finished in the top half with a club he has managed all season.
3. The team are playing badly but the gap between success and failure is very narrow. Look at Leicester they looked certain to be relegated the season before last and only started to pull it round in April. Teams can be riding high then go on very bad runs for whatever reason; in our case injuries. We blew it in 12 minutes on Saturday and then started chasing the game and CP were relaxed and buoyant; that can happen at any time, to any team. Look at ManU and West Ham and where they are after their transfer dealings; they must be bitterly disappointed at their progress this season. It will only take a few things to come into place for Stoke to start winning again.
Don't panic!

Having had all day to ponder on the matter i have now changed my vote from 'YES' to the 'Give him 'til we capitulate against West Brom on Saturday' option.
I don't particularly care how we do against Hull with regards to his Managerial position but i do fear and dread what will happen on Saturday!!!

Middle one for me - give him up till Sunderland but basically forgetting Man UTD away, the West Brom & Sunderland games are fixtures we should be more than capable of getting results in. We need a minimum of 4 points, end of. Anything less and its goodbye for me. Its the manner of defeats as well, we really don't need another 4-0 anywhere and unfortunately have the prospect of facing a Man U side that has just lost 3 games & will be looking for blood.
People are not looking as much at the Hull cup game; if god forbid, we lost by 3 clear goals again at home - I do think that might be the end. It wouldn't exactly set us up for WBA would it?? I can tolerate us losing against Hull but not getting embarrassed again.

You have got to give him the chance to turn things around.
Continuity in football does help.

No.
New players to work with, players to come back to fitness, good squad and good coaching team.
The momentum is against us at the moment, the team clearly lacks confidence and belief. That momentum can change quickly.
We should follow the stance of the Chairman, Stand firm, don't panic, be patient. Trust and believe in the abilities of your staff and team.
Sometimes you've got to ride out the tough patches. Let's hope this run is reversed sooner rather than later. The entire group will be stronger for coming out the other side of this period of adversity.
