when my grandmother pulls them out
(True story, my grandmother always pulled her nose hair out, she never used a scissors. I saw this as a kid and years later I saw my father doing the same thing. When I was a teenager I tried myself but it only gave me a sharp pain, with rolling tears on my cheek. I guess they must have had a lack of nerves there?)

Wait a minute - This calls for a Thread Time Out! (To honor your grandmother and father's obvious toughness) I am heartened to hear of this because the ONE time I tried it....got the same reaction as you - I almost cried like a little girl and I FOR SURE didn't have the guts to try it again! I mean, this could be used as a form of torture... Much respect to your grandmother and father Musik!
