Wasn't that his song on the Boothen End? I remember the whole pub doing that on karaoke the night after he'd stuck two past Vale. Always loved that Charlton goal which broke the record for scoring in consecutive games (1:47) - Joselu's at Everton last season kind of reminded me of it, the way he had to wrap his foot round the ball to get it back on target.

Yeah that one is good; even better the one after where he cuts inside & a rocket into the near post top corner

More goals from Shezza from his second and final season.
A couple of highlights
- His goal against Man City when we beat them 2-1 (Alan Ball's last game in charge and the "Bally's on the dole" chants from the Boothen End to the tune of "Football's coming home") - A hat trick of goals (over two legs) against Arsenal and David Seaman in the Coca Cola Cup - That overhead kick / volley at Portman Road - Bringing the ball down, spinning and volleying it into the bottom corner away at Oxford. I'd never seen this one before (I think we lost 1-4 so never bothered to see the highlights) but it's a very good hit - His brace against the Vale in the last Potteries derby at the Vic, the first rebounding in off of Dean Glover's arse

A PHENOMENAL striker.

You could argue we still haven't managed to recruit that type of player in the Prem, you know the Ian Rush type sniffer
In fact they seem few & far between full stop in the top flight. It seems the attributes these days are pace & power; scoring just seems to be a bonus
