Coming a bit late to this thread.............another Marillion fan in my younger days, until Fish lost the plot and did one
If you've never sampled it I can recommend highly "Forgotten 80's" on DAB Radio, Absolute 80's Sunday nights from 7 to 9 with Matthew Rudd, great listen and he's a top bloke too.

Kitchenware Records. Home of Prefab and whatnot. The Kane Gang. Touch of the Yeahsayer and the rather marvellous Future Islands. Terribly awkward. But it's about 1983. Too much iron in the Tyne making them stiff dancers. I'll let em off.

The 2980's opened up the portals of Muzak. Folk creating summat a bit new. A brilliant time for bad jazz and so forth...

Creation Records... Alan McGee and his sister running a wee label out of a Living Room.

The theme was certainly better than the programme . Kate o'mara was a naughty girl , tbf it was of its time . Compelling viewing at the time . Lots of shagging on the south coast

This song popped into my head yesterday, remember seeing these at the Radio One Road Show with OOh Gary Davis one year. Totally forgot about this one.
Bit of Pete Wylie for you too...
