If Hughes sees today's Mirror i suspect Joselu won't be starting. Anytime soon . Hardly in a position of strength to slag off man city and Toure for Poo attitude and work rate . Behaviour that is title my at odds with our culture and professionally unforgivable you just know that careless use of social media will be rammed back down our throats . Headline. Revolution at city as Stoke Mock surrender in Madrid He needs a little education about the English expression. "people in glass houses ...." That was played yesterday on Talk Sport. I thought it was "glass houses", even though what he said was pretty accurate.

We know Hughes will pick the wrong team, But the day out is lining up to be a cracker- nice weather, few beers in London. Surprised more aren't going. 1-0 Palace Cause palace is hardly London. There is a reason why their main rivals are Brighton, it's so far south of London & it's a $#!t hole. Hope you have a great day though, Gooaarrnn STOKE!!!Xx

We can afford to experiment in this one. The fact we don't know our best 11 is the most worrying aspect of this season.
I'd like to try a 4-4-2
MY FIRST CHOICE IN BOLD (My substitute/alternative in brackets)
BUTLAND (Haugard) + JOHNSON (Bardsley) SHAWCROSS (Teixeira) WOLLSHIED (Cameron) PIETERS (Wilson) + WALTERS (Shenton) WHELAN (Adam) IMBULA (Ireland) AFFELAY (Muniesa) + ARMAUTOVIC (Bojan) SHAQIRI (Joselu)
So, with current injuries, that means the team would be:
Haugard Bardsley, Shawcross, Wollsheid, Pieters Walters, Whelan, Imbula, Muniesa Arnautovic, Shaqiri
Now I know what people will say, Shaq and Walters and Arnie are out of position. But I think the shape and formation is more important in this 4-4-2 experiment. Also, an Arnie and Shaq with more freedom to worry defences is good. Shaq is freed up from defensive duties. And when Arnie tires, we bring on Bojan.
It's only an experiment, but I'd like to see it.
The above also highlights where the squad is seriously weak. We need quality backup for Butland, Shawcross, Imbula and a winger. And surplus to requirements are Diouf and Crouch.

Time to stop the rot and take all three points on offer. I can't have a good week without a positive result today. Orlando City and my beloved Potters are both in bad form ....

Hospitality here must be up with the best I have seen. Stewards who know how to treat people like people, people offering you a beer as you come in and even a resident DJ in the concourse.

I want to see three things today:
1. Imbula taking on his man and making crisp passes. 2. Crouch winning balls and laying the ball off for shaq/arnie running in. 3. Good movement from pieters and bardsley, with crosses coming in.

Adam needs to get higher up the pitch and closer to Crouch. Imbula's playing that position mate, Adam is supposed to be deep.
