In my opinion if he's gonna move to the likes of Everton it's purely cuz he wants out of Stoke.....if it was a club playing in the Champs league next season then I could understand his ambition!!! |

I expect Stoke are holding on to him until they see what they can pull off themselves in the transfer window. If (big IF, IMO) we sign a couple of good wingers, they'll be less inclined to hold onto Arni. If not, they'll play a waiting game and see what happens. As the end of the window comes closer and Arni hasn't been re-signed and Stoke haven't found anyone, it could become a case of who blinks first.

I think we should all be keeping our fingers crossed that Arnie signs. Its a very good package that he offers sublime skill and physical presence. Its only when you lose something like that that some people realise how good they were, see Steven N'Zonzi.

I heard today that Bournemouth have bid £15M for Jordan Ibe.
That would make Arnie worth about 4 times the quoted buyout clause fee.

don't worry stokies,he will be back with us,come pre season training,with his tail between his legs,he had a great chance to put himself in the shop window during the euros,and he fucked up,he played like he does for us,he disappears too much during a game,is to predictable,very rarely beats his fullback on the outside,doesn't like heading the ball for fear of messing his ridiculous Man Bun up,and could have better composure in front of goal,also goes too ground to easily for a big strong lad and rolls around like he's been shot, his good points are, he's blessed with a very quick burst of speed over five yards,and then is too fucked to carry on running,also has a few tricks up his sleeve,and scores a few tap ins,other than that i would say he's a very average player,who thinks he's a super star but clearly is not,we need and want players who are proud too wear the red and white sripes of our great club,and not mercenaries like him,he's more interested in how he looks,with his tattoo's and his fucking Man Bun,if i was Mark Hughes, and Arnie is back with us for pre season,i'd make him train with the reserves,and then keep him on the sideline all season,
