I used to sing this with a band I was in briefly when I was 18. The other members were older and played covers around pubs and clubs. I convinced them to add this and Southern Man by Neil Young to the setlist and then I left to revise for my A levels never to tread the boards again!!

Fair play that you were good enough to sing with a band. You'll never know what would have happened if you'd stuck with it and knocked the A levels on the head. But it must be fun wondering. And here's me thinking nobody else will remember the Doobies!

And here's me thinking nobody else will remember the Doobies! Saw them support Steely Dan about 6 years ago at the O2. Still pretty good to be fair. The drummer in my old band eventually made it professionally with a band called Fischer Z and even appeared on TOTP!

Her song The Kiss, off her second album Heartfood, is probably one of the greatest things ever written in my opinion (I've rambled on about it before on here).

What a great shout that is. Dory's "reflections in a mud puddle" one of my Strange favorites.
