Like all of those Paul. Didn’t know you liked country, although not surprised 😉. On a less pure country note, do you like Jason Isbell? Just got tickets to see him in November in Bristol on his UK tour. Highly recommended.
Yes of course Mike, we're going to see him at the Apollo in November.

Elvis' TCB band Ronnie Tutt on drums James Burton on guitar
Not to mention Springsteen, Jackson Browne, KD Lang, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits and numerous other Rock 'n' Roll luminaries in attendance too!
Ronnie Tutt, arguably the greatest drummer of modern pop music.

My musikal manouvrings and numerical lyrics was inspired by the beautiful symmetry of it being Page 6 0 9 yin & yang and whatnot.... But I was mashed, crashed, ran out of steam, in a goood way. As for 'it' being over in '69, not sure, I could mount an argument with Big John Ritchie as eloquent supporting counsel that the Elvis comeback special {and assassinaion o Doctor ML King} in '68 was a punctuation at least, if not the End... Top Tunes. Up there with the most evocative, atmospheric vinyl in the library....
