This might be a bit early for a static in Prestatyn ('76ish?) certainly remember it from the local touring fairground rides that came around. Waltzers, candyfloss and Candi Staton They think it's all over....

I could never really get into Elbow but that's a great interpretation of a brilliant song.

I haven't listened to this in years and blimey, it still sounds as fresh as fuck! Oh and don't think you'll be getting any extra marks for doubling up on hands you've already played, no matter how good the Bunnymen version is!

I could never really get into Elbow but that's a great interpretation of a brilliant song. I love Elbow, local musikal alumni Mr. Thompson put me on to them, he was a mate of Guy Garvey's, I love the heady mix of the deadpan and the anthemic, got to see them a few times early on, particularly memorable blow outs at the Sugarmill. Havn't really paid too much attention since 'Build a Rocket Boys', but that album is still a staple on the stereogram. i

Indeed the flabby Crass bass, scratchy geetar and militaristic drumming has stood the test of time in my book.. It's nuts. Yeah I thought I'd risk a yellow card for the McCulloch yelps and Billy Bragg getting all Stirling Morrison on thew job..

Canโt remember who the other ones were as I had a bit of a thing about her at the time (I think she was 16 by then)

Amazing, pissed a bit because I think Yard Act played Sugarmill, missed them.. I love everything I've heard.. And our very own Average Joe hits a similar groove/vein.. which is nice.. I was at a festival last weekend and saw them, really enjoyable. Sun was shining, beers flowing.. get in. Bearded theory is a really good little festival at catton hall Derbyshire, took the kids and they loved it.

Democratic Republic of Fenton until '83, then emigrated to Stone I'm beginning to wonder if it was on radio before the football scores or something? Btw I was thinking the other day about your thread a few years back on the history of the club/Victoria Ground. Be nice to revisit if there's anything new to add. We're a competitive bunch on here!!

Time for my trump card. Apologies to felonious for hogging his thread. I've been playing it to death over the last four weeks it's one of the many classics from the boys and girls. I nearly put it up against your original post this morning...... The future's looking colourful It's the colour of blood, chaos and corruption of a happy soul A happy soul will ride in the field Until the rain dies down Mr Murdoch's a genius.... I'm seeing them in July and both the kids are coming along this time, the poor buggers have been listening tp B&S since they were six months old
