For me , one of the best live performances ever recorded. By the king.
On drums, Ronnie Tutt

Lead singer has such a great voice, seen them a couple of times in Manchester. I'll dig out a personal favourite in a bit...

Before this happened in 1956 , nothing had resembled it, musically and culturally. Similar Live performances may seem commonplace now, but this really was revolutionary. And then like many ordinary people catapulted into universal stardom , the pressure and expectations were two much....six weeks before he died, but his voice did not fail him. m.facebook.com/elvis/photos/a.88884213791/10157743154818792/?type=3

.... best UK reggae band ever. Could have picked any track off Roots Controller. Saw them right at the beginning in 1978 supporting ATV in Deptford, which was for five minutes the centre of the universe. Went with my mate Nigel from Uni before he got the gig as manager of Rough Trade Records in Ladbrooke Grove, still running the shop in ‘Ackney I believe after 30 odd years

m.facebook.com/events/514569492557972The Sugarmill are livestreaming their Friday club night (isolation special). I'm watching it because it's the only way I'll be able to relive my student indie cunt days without having to actually attend in person and look like a massive nonce on account of being at least 15 years older than everyone else. Get involved and party like it's 2003! There is nothing you can do Cus there is no solution You’ve gotta get down down to the noise and confuse When was you up there? Only ever went once on uni interdepartmental thing effin loved it, for me it be about 1991 ish, oh and hawkwind if you’ve never seen um go see um, as guitarist as said unbelievable, world of twist blew me frock when I they supported them, listening to now Apollo 440 electric guide🤷♂️

This came on the now 80s channel today. Never heard it before but was mesmerized by the melody, bass line and video. Proper made me smile. Must admit to a crush on the blonde as a kid, but as i got older the brunette took over.

Played in the background yesterday morning to messages about CV, such a fabulous piece of music every bit as good as the first day you heard it.
