In times we could never imagine as a world. In times that, what passes for my prayers, are for, well, all
And in no way diminishing this disaster
We saw things, some of us older fans had, never seen The Prem, players we had read about (and some were quite good too) Delap throws, SJW being....well SJW which I loved him for. Berlin Wall? Check, got one Captain, my captain....got one o them too (thanks Mrs X, know you look in occasionally) Arnie...nuff said but, personal opinion, at his beast in red and white stripes. Games when you were supporting the clock as much as the game (it’s got to end soon and why did the last 4 minutes seem like 20?)
To all the Southern supporters club, the park Sunday players, anyone that got back to London @ 3am, all the wonderful people that met and helped me....You and I are going to live forever.
Do you know I'm not the biggest fan of Elvis Costello but the track came on the radio and I enjoyed it. I remember Mr Costello being featured many years back in the Blackmail Corner section of the New Musical Express with a lovely picture of him in full Fribbo gear at a time when his career was in full fake punk mode
Here's one of my favourite ever American bands with their message to the world, please ignore the furries unless that's your thing
..... High Risk Behaviour by The Chats. Best punk album in forty years! Released today. Unable to download anything. Have a look on Spotify or whatever (already downloaded Pub Feed earlier in this thread.) Just some Aussie explanations for you. The track 4573 is the postcode for Coolum on the Sunny Coast where they are from. Ross River is a virus transmitted by mossies (the river that the name is derived from is in Townsville.) The first track Stinker is about the humidity in Queensland, but they are only in bloody Coolum - should try it up here in Mission Beach!
