Foals new album out today, very good Only had a chance to listen to it four or five times so far but I'm immediately 'getting it' far quicker than part one. Although I eventually got there with part one, this is just so much more rawer and visceral and more like their earlier stuff. I was a bit worried when I heard part one, thinking that they wouldn't be able to help themselves and put all the really good stuff on the first record but they certainly haven't done that! Really can't imagine how insane 'Neptune' is going to sound live. Luckily managed to get tickets for Edinburgh in the pre-sale yesterday, will be great to see them in such a small venue again!

Me and three mates have got tickets to Edinburgh as well but on the 30th April. Lucky they added another date cause the ones for the 29th sold out within 4 minutes this morning. Already booked an apartment 5 minutes from the city centre as we're staying over, can't wait.

We booked our hotel as soon as Edinburgh was announced, think it will definitely be the stand out venue on the tour. 👍

London is too expensive, Birmingham is a bit dull (and I'm going there for another gig in February) and Blackpool doesn't really appeal to me anymore. Edinburgh is a great city, day and night. Stayed there for a weekend during the 6 nations a few years ago and loved it.

I'm really intrigued to find out how you know about this band Gary and why you're listening to them? An obscure Bulgarian band who play a whole myriad of musical styles and with hardly any plays on youtube. This sounds like something straight out of 1980's NWOBHM but it actually came out this year ... what's the story here?

This sounds like something straight out of 1980's NWOBHM but it actually came out this year ... what's the story here? Not so mystic as it might first seem Paul! Truth of it is my daughter bought me Classic Rock magazine for my birthday last month. Attached was a sampler cd of new breaking bands. Amongst some run of the mill stuff were 3 bands that caught my ear. Time Jugglers was the best of them and that track was the one on the cd. I checked them out and found their album that, as you rightly say, is a mixture of styles and influences. They now have 2 favourites on Deezer, I don't know who the other one is! My natural home is heavy rock pre and NWOBHM (AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Motorhead at the Vicky Hall, Thin Lizzy Trentham Gardens etc, yeah I'm that old...) but still have an ear for new stuff, Black Star Riders are getting played at the moment.

Wow, that is absolutely fantastic, I can't believe that I haven't heard of them before. Thanks so much for posting. Cheers Paul the whole concert is sitting on You Tube if you're interested. It's good to hear something new because there's so much fabulous music out there but finding it in the maze is another thing. Flash put the following track up a few months back and I'd never heard of them. The track has been on heavy rotation and there's a few friends now loving it as well.

Oh I watched the whole thing last night (and downloaded the album) - absolutely stunning! I've also shared it with a few mates and we're trying to justify going to watch them at AB (one of my favourite venues in Europe) in Brussels at the end of March but it's a bit of head scratcher because they've had so many different vocalists and watching a show from them last year, just doesn't seem the same thing at all really. Apparently they're representing Belgium at the Eurovision song contest next year! If it could be guaranteed that it'd be a similar thing to your original link, then we'd have already bought the tickets. More investigation required over the coming week. But thanks again for such a brilliant link in the first place! 👍 Alabama 3 - I love the Sopranos! 👌
