I don't geddit? What does it mean, to be an 'influential' fan?
None of those mentioned so far have influenced me. To be fair, I suspect they don't see themselves as influential either. I guess I've put about £10,000 into Stoke's coffers over the last thirty years or so. Does that count as influence? Probably not, compared to Mr Coates.
Sorry for the rambling post. Watching The Wizard of Oz at the moment. The Munchkins, what the fuck is that all about?

Hudsongod no. 1 without doubt. Threatened red card protest was a real turning point.

I don't know where to start with this. I'd imagine the majority of those named would be just as embarrassed.

It's a MS attempt to start a debate, so don't take it too seriously. He and we know that there's no such thing as a top 10 supporter, not least because so many are not in the news, maybe living amazing lives in their passion for Stoke City, or perhaps overcoming disabilities to remain loyal under the most difficult circumstances or whatever.
Just don't get worked up about a bitv of fun and show the spirit that is surely a prerequisite for supporting our wonderful if too often infuriating club.

The most influential Stoke City supporter ever?
My Dad - he started to take me to games when I was 7, some 41 years ago. That's how I became a Stoke City supporter.

Premiershit - I'd "given up prior to PL times" - why would you think that? On what basis? The Premier League means nowt to me and never will. my best times watching Stoke were not 2008-now, that's for sure. They were with my dad and mates.
The 'offs' at well dressings - did you really believe that? Did you not see the p*** taking out of hooligan culture? Unless I've missed the joke, too. Probably have as I've had a beer. I went far more aways games pre-PL than now, and I was more vocal with my writing pre-PL. In fact, you have it the wrong way round - I was far more into football pre-08.
Bod - Would love to know what you base that on, as like most others on here I find it cringy, this list.
There is only 1 person who wins this for me: my old man, he got me into Stoke. He's the influence.
If you think that I have any interest in this top 10 or that there should be a criteria for being a SToke fan then you have obviously never, ever met me: I did not give my job up to do Duck: I did so as I was a physical and mental wreck, and a s*** dad and husband. I have lost £$$£ but I have replaced that by smiles and being a decent bloke again, ask my family. That's far more important.
Call me what you you want, think what you want, but don't think I think I'm any better than anyone else or was not there pre-08, or give a s*** about a top 10 list of Stoke fans. That implication hurts me and is f****** wrong.
