A silly pull back in the second half could on another day have been a yellow card and a free kick in a dangerous position, and depending which cunter of a ref could even have had a red card, his lack of pace is his biggest problem IMO. Gouranga. Micro analysis. Muni was very good today.

If Muniesa can stay fit then he should be our left back for the rest of the season. Pieters has been utter shite since signing his contract and could have no complaints about being dropped. You are clearly lacking background information Muni has been out a lot with ye old hammy as I am sure you know Pieters has had to play through a calf injury, week on week which will not go away If you think Pieters has been utter shite, carrying on week after week through the pain, then you need a different past time fella All the more reason to drop him then if he's carrying an injury. I don't see how carrying an injury can prevent him from putting in a decent cross or making simple passes to team mates. He's been wank recently injury or no injury and if you haven't been able to see this then I suggest it's you who needs the new past time.

Whoever plays left will always be made to look poor while arnie gives up and doesn't support him. But we get away with it more than we don't and the upside is arnie scoring goals. I take it you've missed Arnie's excellent defensive work over the last 2 to 2.5 years then? You seem to have missed the change to arnies game. He doesn't defend as much as he used to.

No chance. Since signing his contract he's been shocking and needs competition. Dropping him will give him the kick up the arse he needs The old myth that Pieters has been crap since he signed his contract, simply not true. Why is it a myth?

Better than Pieters in the last game, but overall Pieters plays very good and remains still our Nr. 1 on the left side Muniesa was great today No chance. Since signing his contract he's been shocking and needs competition. Dropping him will give him the kick up the arse he needs That shocking he's been called up to the Dutch squad!

I agree, he has been shocking. Gets pulled out of position, can't make a short pass and cannot make a cross to save his life. A good back up for a decent left back.

Muniesa played well as a left back, but look at what areas we attacked, it was our lowest percentage of attack down the left hand side as Marc did not link up with Arnie as well as Pieters does.

This may be due to their left side being shite as highlighted on MOTD
