Danny Ings would be an incredible signing if we could get him.

We don't need a 'big' signing we need 4 hard working players in. The Premier league is fast and physical and we have two 'luxury' players in Bojan and Shaquiri. Neither can track back and add any physical presence. They are skilled players but it means the remaining 8 outfield players have to work their balls off, and for some time they haven't. Pochettino has said openly that his number one rule is that his players must work hard, not when they have the ball, but when they don't have the ball, how many of the present team fit into that category?

Guardian West Ham offer £31.5m for Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi but face competition West Ham have offered €40m (£31m) to Marseille for striker Michy Batshuayi but face competition from a host of European clubs including Juventus to sign the Belgium striker this summer. Batshuayi was also the subject of a similar offer from Stoke in January but his representatives have indicated that he would not be interested in moving to the Potteries.

I imagine another poor window for us, if we don't get the right people in Carto, his team have some serious questions to answer.

Ibe would be my priority. Perfect for us. Awesome potential. Either on loan or permanent. I don't think he's a klopp type of player

Not a usual rumour monger.... but...
A director at my place who is a big Man United fan with a box at Old Trafford just casually wandered up to me and asked if I was happy about 'Ashley Young'?
My confused face led him to explain that it was 'common knowledge around Old Trafford' that he was on his way to Stoke in the summer.
Went on to suggest that he was of the impression that we wanted him to replace Arnie (but seemed less convinced of this).
Not convinced myself, but he seemed genuinely shocked that I wasn't in the know already. Anyone heard anything?....

Wet Sham appear to have opted not to keep Alex Song - go get him Sparky! Barca connections could strike again

Benteke Ashley Young Ron Vlaar Alex Song Ruddy
That would solve a lot of the problems.

I am sure we will get some "know it alls" saying he is not good enough for us, but I'd be pretty happy if he was brought in to add to, but not replace, Arnie. He has quality, is homegrown and is versatile enough to play full back too (to cover Eric).

What I'd really like to see is someone who has the genuine pace to run in behind and get on the end of passes out of midfield. We just don't have that in our locker at the moment.
Someone like Rashford?

There are no words I'd rather we had Marvin Hagler - at least he'd show some fight! Some very odd suggestions on here - what is clear is we are quite prepared to spend 20m+ to get the striker the manager wants. Let's hope he is "the one".
