As I said - Beast 1.5 is a light build that is ideal for firesticks. I don't agree it still felt clunky compared to earlier builds! I have an old version of the beast backed up that must be about 12 months old and it works so much better I suppose it is what ever you feel comfortable with. Some builds a better for one thing and other builds are better for different things. I will probably leave the Beast 1.6 on my box and try just putting the addons I like on my firestick and see he I get on with that.

Absolutely spot on. I can understand people charging like £10 but £25 and it's probably a shit build that's to big for a stock like the beast. As people have already said i give my knowledge for free, i also know a good support group on fb that help for nothing. Yes mate that FB Kodi support group is bang on I use one called genie tv. They have their own free builds and instructions how to install. Plus support if you get stuck. They also offer a iptv subscription but i don't use it.

Do you still have to register to download the beast?
Was using Valhalla the other day but the Leicester watford direct links didn't seem to work so think I might need to update. (Still managed watch it on the SKySp1 link)

(Still managed watch it on the SKySp1 link) Yes - t is to try and stop people loading 100's of firesticks up and charging for them. The guy who generates the Beast build does it for free

Use the repo
http: // kodimaster.com/repo
Install from zip, then install the repository, then the program
Use the standard Ultimate Kodimaster build (there are lots of all in one flavours to choose from)
Is ace.
(Get rid of the spaces in the link, it wont show the full path without them)

Anybody wanting fully loaded fire tv. Message me and i will supply £60. Loaded full hd footy and films Don't bother folks the firestick is not the way to go the Android boxes are much better, quicker, don't lag, more user friendly and you can do so much more with them.
Whatever you do don't buy one from this guy the software he uses is free and he's taking you for a mug. If your not computer literate your investing in about a month of use. After this most of the addons (streams for movies and sport) will go down and if you don't know what your doing you will not be able to update it and it will become useless.
Some of the android boxes are cheap imports from China so buy them from a reputable dealer the best by far being Entertainmentbox. If money's not the issue this is the best unit and air mouse to go for at this time is here. T8 v.3
Go for the T8 v.3 for a future proof box and for a few quid extra buy the air mouse which makes it much more user friendly.
Once you have one of these boxes KODI will be pre-installed. All you need to do is to install a small piece of software called the wookie wizard and run it. This will alter the kodi settings with a pre configured setup with all the current streams. The software is updated every few weeks and all you have to do is run it again to get the new updates.
A guide to setup Kodi with the Wookie Wizard.
The whole process is automatic and from a new install of Kodi the whole process will only take 5 minutes.
If any of you are thinking of going down this route a good idea is to install Kodi on you PC or any android tablet and have a play with it. Kodi is free to download and use. It can be downloaded from here Kodi download.
You can install Wookie in exactly the same way as previously described. A PC will more often than not run Kodi better than any other device including the android box.
The only reason you need the Android box is that it is an easy way to stream to you LCD TV using an HDMI lead. These boxes are also small and are very quiet and using the air mouse make the job of navigating Kodi whilst sitting in your armchair nice and easy.

I bought an Android box last year and it bricked itself after about 6 months. Bought an Amazon Fire Stick for $25 last November. Misses loaded Kodi and been using it since. See no difference in performance between the box and the stick and the stick still works! Rubbish there is a massive difference. Tell me what model android box you've got and I'll talk you through unbricking it.

Not sure why people are having a go at the bloke tbh. If people are willing to pay to not have the hassle of doing all the (minimal) work, then let them. It's less the cost of a month's sky subscription so I hardly think they're that fussed.
I wish I'd have thought of it.

Have no idea why you would pay for a stick
They are basically little Android phones running Kodi
I have Kodi on an old desktop plugged into my TV, wired into ethernet - I am free to install, update, remove channels, or delete the whole lot and start again
Have it on my laptop, so if I want to plug it into my projector, upstairs telly, or just watch it in the kitchen I can
I have it on both my Android tab and phone, running beautifully and can update/install as and when I want, and I have a cable that outputs either device to my TV - I could Chromecast it if I desired too!
I frequently change my build, links and channels always need to be kept up to date
But ultimately Kodi is FREE, and with a little patience installing and updating channels/versions is FREE - the bandwagon of sticks and charging for basically hacking/jailbreaking the software is pants.
Ive installed on many laptops for friends and family FREE OF CHARGE because all it costs is about 15 mins of my time.

The point is though if he's selling them to people who do not have the confidence to set the device up themselves, in a month they will be useless so they are spending £60 for nothing. As we all know repo's drop out at will and what works now will not work in the future.
My point is that android boxes are much easier to set up than firesticks so the customer has more of a chance to keep them running in the future by following the very simplistic setup guides freely available on google.

OK, see what you mean. Fair point. I use a Raspberry Pi 2 atm, very easy to use. Might upgrade in the future but it does the job for now. These are great - www.amazon.co.uk/Rii-Multifunction-Portable-Wireless-Keyboard/dp/B00LZPSP6A makes it much easier to navitage Kodi.

This is a micro, fanless PC which I use as a media centre on my 4k tv. Runs Kodi great and a lot less buggy than android devices. Little bit more expensive than the T8 but it has the advantage of running other software like SkyGo, Microsoft Office and PowerDvd. Great all round box for anybody who prefers to use windows.

Got the new RPi 3 at the weekend. I've installed the OpenELEC OS (which includes Kodi) and installed the Wookie build on top. This setup boots straight in to the Wookie interface from powerup. The Android "Kore" remote control app on my phone saves having to dig out the wireless keyboard for day-to-day use, but the keyboard is needed for the initial setup.
If I want to use the RPi for anything else, it's a simple matter of swapping out the microSD card for one that's got another OS (Raspbian or Ubuntu) installed.

I didn't have a go I just said it's down to choice, you either sit back and pay or do as I did look on Google for the video tutorial guides and do it yourself, even with limited knowledge using the guides will take up no more than an hour of your time,if you aint confident enough to do it yourself use him ! And I also said I hate any football fans being ripped off a point which still stands, for the work involved I would of thought £15 tops on top of the stick price would be enough

For those of you with an android box a lot of people are now downloading an app called Mobdro. This app links to streams of all the UK sports and film channels and more. I'm told its good quality and reliable but have not used it myself.
You need to download the app using your browser here Mobdro.
You down load the .APK file an then install it on your box by clicking the file which will be saved in the downloads section which can be accessed by your file manager.
You can run this on a Windows setup but you need to install an android emulator.
