The only thing in your wardrobe that is made of weird stretchy artificial material. Unless you're a committed cyclist. Or Spider-Man.

Stripes on the back of Southampton's shirt If it's a choice of those stripes or our plain back i'd take our plain back. I'd love to see the front of that because the back looks like a three year olds pyjama's!

Stripes on the back of Southampton's shirt That's because they've got the big white panel on the front.

Yep - it certainly is vile. Like some horrific 1994 shocker. But it does kind of prove all that Macron garbage about FA/Uefa regulations is a pile of absolute nonsense?

I may be imagining things, but didn't they state when our kit was released that they were pre-empting a proposed new regulation, rather than complying with an existing one?

As the Premier League are looking to introduce a rule to enforce squad number visibility to complement UEFA’s rules for clubs playing in European competition, we have incorporated a white panel on the reverse of the shirt. However, we have retained our red and white stripe DNA on part of the back and incorporated red letters and numbers to complement the shirt. And Southampton clearly think they can get away with stripes in the Prem and Europa League for 16-17

I think we designed our kit without stripes in case we qualified for Europe. Why we couldn't design two is beyond me...

That thing's an abomination. It looks like the staff uniform for a chain of halal fast food restaurants. Perhaps we should wear little thunderbirds hats to go with it? It will go well with acne.
Disclaimer: I'm sure I'll get used to it if we win a trophy and it ends up being our lucky shirt.

I was going to order an away arnie kit today and realized not only are they ugly but from a distance people will think I'm wearing a Man City kit.

Real shame because it ruins what is otherwise a really good design, especially if you don't want a name and number on the back. It definitely put me off buying one.

Anybody else having problems with their kits, I have returned 2 from 3 of my kids kits due to buttons coming of and switching coming undone.

Yeah away shirt was returned as back bit of top button was hanging off when took it out the packaging. Thought was very poor quality. Shop staff didn't hesitate in exchanging item though so that was good but guessing they've got no choice if it's a common fault and tags were still attached.

I was going to order an away arnie kit today and realized not only are they ugly but from a distance people will think I'm wearing a Man City kit. I don't get why people are complaining it looks like a Man City kit. Of course whatever colours we choose for our away kit are going to look like another teams, unless you want us to have pink and yellow stripes, or that grey and flourescent kit Adidas did for us. Were you complaining when we had our Inter Milan away kit or Barcelona away kit in recent years? Would you prefer we went for a royal blue (Everton shirt), Yellow (Norwich shirt), White and Black (Vale shirt)? Personally i think sky blue is a nice colour and i'm glad weve chosen it for our away this year. So what if Man City wear that colour too?
