As a young manger in his first season to have called out one of our players publicly was below the belt. OK he may have been right but that is one example that just tells you that he's not long term manager material. He was wrong.

According to the Daily Express, Swans are looking at Brendan Rogers a a possible replacement for Monk. That is certainly no improvement.

Apparently he's been sacked. Apparently Gary is remaining tight lipped. Which is difficult for him considering he hasn't got any lips.

People are treating Rodgers now the way certain people treated Hughes after QPR. They just refuse to see the good parts of his CV.

Brenda is a great potential appointment, to be fair. I think he was out of his depth with the bindippers, but he could do well if given another go with the Swans.

Being telling you all this for months. It is inevitable - where March predicts, the rest of the world soon follows. Is that how the 'Ides of March' got its name? ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)

Obvious for Rodgers to go back there. Monk is a bit out of his depth but they should keep him as number 2

To an extent it was, but he did nearly win the league with them. Thanks only to Luis Suarez. No. He was the biggest part, but a league isn't like an international tournament. One player can't win it for you on his own. Loads of them that season were out of their skin and Rodgers deserves a lot of credit for getting the best out of them. And a lot of stick for his appalling record in the transfer market thereafter.

You're right, one player can't win it for you on his own. That's why they didn't win it. I want deluded Brendan to get another job for the entertainment. I think he's full of shit & will fail, but I hope someone gives him the opportunity to prove me wrong.

I know people don't like Rodgers because he comes across as a deluded buffoon, but he's a decent manager. If it was just down to Suarez why did they finish 7th under Dalglish? Sturridge, Henderson, Coutinho, Gerrard, Flanagan and more were all excellent that season.

He is ok at that level the step up to the dippers was too much for him To be fair he came closer to delivering a title to LFC than any other manager in the past 25 years...and it was the players that screwed it all up in the end. He's a good manager but the 'dippers transfer policy is flaky and the resulting signings have been abysmal. But ultimately he lost the very fickle Anfield crowd...even Klopp has had to bollock them.
