I went today and it wasn't that bad. First half was pretty even, 2nd half we couldn't get going. Newcastle dominated and as said Jack came to our rescue. But we were far from bad. We just tried to score the perfect goal instead of taking a pop.
The game just really needed a goal.
1st half thought our following was decent. 2nd half as Newcastle were on top, we went quieter as frustration was digging in and Newcastle opening us up more and more, with the exception of the Stokies next to the Castle fans who were giving it each other.
Newcastle fans were very quiet, hence the "are we in a library song"

I spent £150 on train and match tickets for me and my kids today, and all in all, we had a really good day out

We controlled possession well at times , especially in the first half but as seems to be the pattern of the season we hardly created a thing . Walters toiled but very little positive came from Arnie Bojan and Shaquiri . They inevitably had a spell and Jack was outstanding again , a point towards safety and if we can't add pace or create more , survival will be an achievement

Great city, top stadium, lovely locals. Not a fantastic performance and our boys were a little quiet at times but only by our own high standards (concourse was buzzing though). Still, had a great day away and ffs stop moaning (kinda smiley face)

If you think that was a shocking day out you've not been following Stoke long. Fucks sake. Some right fucking shite hawks follow our team these days. Try getting soaked to the skin on an open terrace watching us get a right thumping. Today is nowhere close. Been going stoke home and away for 42 years, been wet through , hospitalised, arrested.been through it all and im not a shithawke.we used to make more noise with 200 than we do now.dont suppose you were there today you pirck.

Still up Newcastle still can't believe how poor the performance was today its so easy to say well clean sheet and 1point but if you are honest it was a woefully performance from players who should do a lot better .bojan and sheq are no where good enough at this time and Arnie just gets very frustrated.still belief you can't play both bojan and she in same team it leaves the midfield with to much defence duties and no attacking options.Stoke fans please wake up and see what's happening

Crikey, the guy just said he has a wank day out. Haha. Does it really need the full on you cant have been watching stoke long, knee deep in piss, no pies, grimsby/nuneaton/telford (insert shit club name here) away business. Thats factually incorrect. If you had bothered to reach down into the pool of piss, there were occasionally some pies down there. Mind you, I do prefer gravy on mine myself....

We're wank and we look toothless, money wasted again on the club I love, but it's starting to get boring now. I agree I think we should all give up and die immediately. Did you go today marra ?

What's happened in the concourse there were beer bottles everywhere, a right fucking mess Let me guess some of the intelligentsia who follow our team away spent £4 buying a bottle of beer and then proceeded to throw it around in the concourse. Well naughty.

Well it's certainly not for me to disagree with the type of day you had mate, especially the journey up, but it's not the one I experienced. We weren't great today and I sort of agree about the full 90 minutes. Against that though I see another clean sheet and another unbeaten away day - one single defeat in eight away games this season. Our players were still clearly suffering some side affects from 120 minutes the other night and were below our best. Under the circumstances I'd say it was far from "shocking" or "woeful". As for the atmosphere, I didn't think it was terrible and you gave to bear in mind how far we were from the pitch. It's not a great place from which to watch a match. Hope you had a better journey back.

fans have a right to be fucking sick of the way we're playing at the moment, 6 hour round trip and we get fuck all apart from a clap at the end that's it, it's easy for some fans who dont make the trip to slag of a fan for slating the way the lads play.

Laughing unless you witness the game in full its hard to explain what you see .I see a team not progressing from last year and unless someone takes responsibility to have a go and at least shoot on target then we will not progress.Hughes plays 2 so called wingers but the delivery of both is poor their best skill is to cut inside and shoot something they seem to have forgotten

Got back at 9 Fucking great day drinking in a fantastic city followed by a well deserved point Get a grip ffs Used my neighbour's season ticket and, keeping my gob shut, had many hilarious moments stood among the Toon supporters. The language variations grew as their frustration increased. Our play not pretty to watch but effective. As usual, the locals thought their players had only to turn up and their God-given right to a win would materialise. I often think some of our own fans need to accept that, outside the top six or so, that, on the day, any team can beat another. 'We should be shafting the likes of Newcastle/AN Other' is wishful thinking. PS - it will be nice to have a few pints in Whitley Bay this week with a smug grin on my face.

They even slow down the best bits so you can take a closer look and see things that those at the game may have not seen in real time. It's pretty cool... check it out when you get a chance. Careful though, seems quite apparent that you like a beer and I'm guessing you've had a few. If you spill it on your computer, things can go tits up quite quick, like

Understand where you are coming from, I normally take my lad to a couple of away games every season on top of the home games and the days have normally been decent all in. Some of the other lads on this thread are suggesting that it was not as bad a day as you are making out? After mid week's exertions I would have taken a point all day long.

I respect your opinion, I'm happy with a point at St James, its a tough place to go, it's just the manner in which we went about it mate, lets be honest Jack kept us in the game and it's worrying to think we're we'd be without him.
