Is it just us I wonder. Or most English clubs !! This is why I want all things Welsh to fail. They don't like anything about us so do t give a monkey's toss about them. Bit like the Vale. Every now and again Swansea seem to have a good 4 or 5 years. These periods of success appear to convince their fans that they are relevant to the fans of other clubs.
It is nice for their current supporters that they are enjoying one of these periods of success. I am happy for them to pretend that they are real, authentic fans by creating some sort of rivalry with a real football club. If it gives their support some legitimacy in their eyes then good luck to them.
My football club is disliked and even despised by fans of real football clubs; I am happy with that. If my club was liked by rival fans I would think we were doing something wrong.
The opinions of Swansea fans, players and management are undoubtedly important to them. They are an irrelevance to everyone else.

Lets face it Wales has fuck all going for it. It's always going to cut them up that they have been subjugated and they speak a dead language, a language where its impossible to put a sentence together without using English words. Because Swansea are in top flight football and Cardiff are not swansea have become more or less the national team of their two city backwater nation so its hardly surprising that every fucker with a Welsh passport jumps on the band wagon. So the Welsh don't like us? I won't be loosing any sleep over it.
