beyond belief that you can slag a guy like walters off with all the passion committment effort and no little skill he has shown for the club. He is a major reason we have survived in the top flight. He deserved better from the club and to slate him because he put a transfer request in is ludicrous- how do you know the club didnt ask him to do that???yet you can praise lazy sods like arnautovich and a player like bojan who lets face it has had half a dozen decent games...mind boggling He deserved better from the club - lifetime contract? He wasnt happy with the contract offered and wanted to move, what does he "deserve"? how do you know the club didnt ask him to do that??arnautovich - points for spelling his name wrong. He doesnt matter, why know his name eh? lazy sods like arnautovich - Also, lets bring the image back that first disproved this bullshit a player like bojan who lets face it has had half a dozen decent games - or a player like Bojan who was on his way to regaining the form that made him world famous as a teenager before he got a serious injury since when he's been posting regular videos about his comeback and about how much he wants to play for us again. Ill tell you what... thats one of his "half dozen" games yeah? Remind me of one game that Walters has controlled as well as that. Name me one. Seriously, one of the most deturchitating posts I've ever read.

And the fact that the video's a mirror image of reality strangely gives you a fresh perpective on the game...

Who lit the fuse on your tampon? I pointed out further up I'm looking at it from Hughes's perspective with Walters not wanting to be here. Well that just shows how mentally challenged you are then. So, the club have bids for a player, the club turn them down, stop him from leaving so they can teach him a lesson by leaving him out of the 25. You're deluded fella. Didn't Hughes just leave him out of a match day squad because his "head isn't in the right place"? Walters carries on airing his shitty pants in public, it's a credible suggestion that Hughes might not want that smell lingering around the dressing room.. Whether you agree with it or not.

The club don't want Walters in 2017 for the price he values himself at. Walters would stay here longer if he thought he was fairly compensated. Those two values not going to meet in the middle by the sounds of it. Walters therefore wanted to move on this window, and we'd have let him if we thought we got a fair price for him. That offer never came in so we'll ask him to see out the rest of his contract with us. Jon will, because he's a model professional, and because it doesn't do his career/reputation any good to have a bad year. If anything, he'll play out of his skin.
EDIT: For the record, it would be Odemwingie who doesn't make my 25 for the first half of the season. We've got enormous strength in this area, and he still doesn't look fit enough for football at this level - give him 4 months of reserves or a local loan. (I'm not sure he'll ever return to a good enough level at his age).

Leaving him out for a couple of games until the situation was resolved makes sense, now he's not going anywhere until at least January would make it crazy not to play him again. He'll get game time again for sure. If they had no intention in naming him in the squad they'd have sold him to Norwich, cashed in and saved the wages.

It will be either Texeira or Haugaard (Leave on loan) who won't be in the 25 i reckon, unless we know Ryan won't be back until January at the earliest. Even if we loan Haugaard out though, we still probably would want to name in the 25 because if Butland or Given got injured we would need him for the bench, unless we trust Bachmann enough. We need 3 keepers in the 25, and we will have 3 in the 25. Tex out on loan for his development would make sense.

Yeah we do, so yeah Tex looks most likely to miss out unless Ryan is not going to be back until January at the earliest.
