This club has a proud history of turning fans against players to cover their backs. Sheron, Stein, Biggins etc Sheron, yes. I can't remember fans turning against Stein or Biggins?

My comment re Lou on Loyalties. I am not slagging him whatsoever BUT pretty much every time, before Marvellous, in the interviews outside of the Sentivale, obviously influenced heavily by his work with MUTV, he has not spoken well of Stoke compared to the Shit. Again, I am not calling his person into question. Nor am I questioning whatever feelings he may or may not have towards my club as I do not know him personally. I made a comment some time ago on here that I was disappointed in an interview he had given and that in some way it tainted a little my feelings towards what were fantastic times as a supporter of Stoke City. To hear him be dismissive of Stoke in interviews, whilst possibly being professionally accurate, smacked a little of "they pay me more" to me. I would also suggest that he writes for the Sentivale as they pay him to. You're kind of confusing me a little. He is being dismissive of Stoke whilst possibly being professionally accurate? Well I believe that is his job, is it not? I'm sure you can appreciate it is probably easier to sing the praises of United's recent history than ours, especially as he is primarily a United fan. He would probably be the first to admit that. Further, even the most inept of pundits, Micky Fat Twat Quinn, manages to tread a decent line when questioned over one of his former teams meeting Liverpool, a team he loyally just supports. Let me just add though the Lou is a hero of mine and always will be but to hear him talk sometimes taints the memory. Must be just me though, obviously you are able to separate things so logically and rationally. So much so that you have issue with those that can't.

He's a fucking boring pundit too imo that's just Higgy being proud to say "Stats and numbers are all that matters. the bigger picture, how Stoke play and the context are irrelevant, as long as i can say I told you So and have a bit of oneupmanship then that's all i care about"........looks like he'd fit in well on here to be honest

I have to confess that Higginbotham gets on my nerves more than most. I never liked him as a player (thought he was bang average) and the only affection he holds for the club is based on the premice that we were the only team that would have employed him in the Premier League. Given that we put his career back on track when it was dying a death at Southampton I think a little more gratitude wouold be in order.
He is, by and large, disparaging to the club since his departure, and seems unimpressed with Hughes quiet, measured revolution of the Potters. It's not an opinion I share and harking back to the good old days flies in the face of the evidence on the pitch, particularly borne out by Albion's incredible lack of ambition and effort on Saturday. We're better now than we have been at any stage of our Premier League life, and he should recognise that, not get into twitter arguments with supporters (myself included) who don't necessarily subscribe to his version of events.
Or he could fuck off back to United. Either way.

I was doing the ironing the other day in a room where there is only radio, not TV. I tuned in to Talksport or similar, and Daniel was speaking, I thought, i'll give him a listen, he was a loyal servant and stalwart at a positive time of upward mobility for my football club. 5 minutes later I had to put the iron down and retune due to his inane babbling and repetitious nonsense.
He has one note and one note only - constantly repeating the same thing several times in some ridiculous accent to the consternation of his co-comentateeee - I had been prepared to overlook the Utd balance. Never again

I thought, when he made his comments about 'balance' that he'd got a point. I still think he has and I'm particularly concerned (with Ryan's absence) that we don't have a commanding CH on our books. I like the big lump at Leicester though.

Got a book to sell, makes some controversial comments shocker.
He was happy enough to turn up and sell his book at the club shop though.
His attitude has taken a real turn for the worst recently

Why the fuck is he suddenly the anti-Christ for passing an opinion that we need to balance our squad and not simply look to 'flair' players?
It's HIS opinion to which he's fully entitled.
