I hope the baggies don't make us look like a bunch of lightweights on Saturday. I'd be a little fecked off, considering we used to thrive on lightweight teams.

I think it could get a bit feisty on Saturday. Think that we will come out of the blocks flying and get an early goal. It's certainly going to be interesting.

Butland Johnson - Wollschied - Cameron - Muniesa Whelan - Ireland Shaqiri - Afellay - Arnautovic Diouf
WBA have no pace so Wolly should be fine. Pieters didn't play well at all yesterday and deserves to get dropped. In fairness, Arnautovic doesn't deserve to play but we have no other LWs 3-1 prediction

Surely we're just going to finally benefit from a TP away performance - eleven men behind the ball and a nice, safe, two goal win for the home team?

I hate the idea of being Pulised on Saturday! Stoke have got the Wherewithall to win the game but I am worried, based on what I've seen so far that we will perhaps struggle on set pieces. For this reason I think Mark Hughes will ensure that we have headers of the ball in his own box and he will also expect Butland to command his six yard box. My team would be:- Butland Johnson Wollshied Wilson Muniesa Whelan Cameron Afellay Ireland Shaqiri Joselu. This would mean we'd have sufficient combatative players to mark on set pieces whilst also having a good offensive make up. Subs would be Given Bojan Arnautovic Diouf Pieters Adams Van Ginkel

Can't believe some are suggesting leaving Doofy out! Last seasons top scorer and 2 in 3 already this. Crouch mentioned too, god no.What a game that would turn out to be given that when Crouchy plays we tend to lump it along with him offering nowt. Woolly also suggested by some, nowt wrong with Cameron and Muni for this game. Butland Johnson Cameron Muni Pieters, Arnie Whelan MVG Ireland Shaq and Doofy. Next game and Bojan will be back instead of Ireland for me. Tempo is the buzz word though, last night was a shocker. We all know how TP will set up, up to us to make the running.

TP side: Myhill Dawson,Olsen,McCauley,Chester Jacob and Fletcher in the cage MacManaman and the Irish ex Sunderland player doing double time on the wings Lambert
Randon (sp) as Duracell bunny.
Assuming Berahino won't play pending sale.
Get at them down the wings, big game for Arnie and Shaqiri.
Score first and win.

I'd like to see Whelan getting into those advanced positions whilst simultaneously protecting the back 4. By doing both jobs simultaneously, this would mean that as well as conceding fewer chances and creating more goalscoring ones, it would also open up more space for others. So would everyone. However he's not Franz Beckenbauer. He can't do both. That for me is one of the problems in MF we need another player back to 1. break down opposition attacks before they get to the defense and 2. bring out the ball. Adam can't play there because he's apoor tackler. Beckenbauer is not even half the player Whelan is. Beckenbauer is a mere streak of piss on Whelan's soggy shorts.

On current from I think the following team would make sense. Affelay and Van Ginkel are not up to speed yet and Arnie is misfiring as he always does in the first half of the season (no end product with this boy!).
Butland
Johnson Cameron Munesia Pieters
Adam Whelan
Shaqiri Ireland Diouf
Walters
If he wants to change the defence he may bring in Wilson and shift Cameron into midfeld at the expense of Adam

Have a very uneasy feeling about this one after the woeful drivel ive seen served up in the last three games.
I just hope we show strength and grit and dont get bullied by tones kiddies.

At the Hawthorns last season, we made the mistake of playing Walters, Crouch and Adam ( I think) all in the same team.
Hope we don't do the same again.

This has 0 0 or 1 0 either way written all over it.
We need to score first, preferably in the first half.
Also need to support the team, particularly if we go behind.
Give Shaq the chance to shine as well.

This will be role reversal, they are now the biggest team in the PL, according to Talksport. They will be dangerous from set pieces. But watching them on Tuesday they were toothless, but did have quite a few out.
