He used to come to my lads school to take after school football coaching .....he was always less than complimentary because my lad wore a Stoke shirt ....I wonder why that was ?

He used to come to my lads school to take after school football coaching .....he was always less than complimentary because my lad wore a Stoke shirt ....I wonder why that was ? I remember being at Preston in our 92/93 promotion season and he got some loud and continuous "sledging" from the big contingent of Stokies behind the goal. The regular "Lou Lou" song was ammended for the day along these lines... You've got something we don't want You've got something we don't want You've got something we don't want You've got Tony Ellis Fuck off Tony Ellis (x4) and repeat. And it was repeated. Many, many times. It got under his skin. I suspect it might have stayed there!

Couldn't stand the bloke, but up to now, it's only accusations. Remember folks, our law says- or used to say- innocent until proven guilty, so I'll stand by that and keep my own counsel.

Sling an inordinate amount of mud in every direction and the law of averages says some of it will invariably find a place to stick . Read a few internet rumours. Hang your coat on one or two, you may get lucky and you've got "insight". All I say to the "I knew" brigade, why didn't you go to the Police? Go to the police? You really don't understand, do you?

You really don't understand, do you? Loads of people went to the police down the years. For a variety of reasons the police didn't pursue the cases. The British establishment looked after their own interests and were allowed to get away with anything by way of cover ups and nipping all allegations in the bud. They saw the poor as mere cannon fodder to send away to die to retain their status in wars. They would have little trouble in abusing as they were untouchable and the lives of the kids involved didn't really count as they were of unworthy social status.

And according to some on this board, who take the piss out of these very serious matters via vaccous comments. That's the way it should be.
And I ask myself why?

Exactly mate If it wasn't for what is referred as internet rumours none of this, or any other such issues would be anywhere near seeing the light of day. No wonder Cameron and co want to turn the internet into nothing but a glorified sky package run by corporations with official information only. And when Cameron talks of 'extremist material' be of no doubt, this is what he means. Take a look at his face again when one of the few mps with integrity, Tom Watson, raises the issue of Downing St paedophile rings in parliament.
