So what is happening with the court case? Same question from me. Seems all gone quiet on Internet, last report was nearly two weeks ago?? Very strange.

So what is happening with the court case? Just read on Sentinel website that the case have been adjourned until 21st September ........"as new evidence emerges that may contradict statement given by Mr Fox". Other players from 1980s also being implicated including Bould.

Peter Fox is a Stoke City Hero. Even if he is found quilty we need to be on his side because he is one of our own. That's just wrong.

I know the focus is on Stoke City and our players with this story, but I'm guessing there are a hell of a lot of other players from other clubs of that era who are keeping a close eye on the case and feeling a bit worried.

Just been reading some of the so called "Evidence" regarding an interview that Foxy gave on Radio Stoke in the late 80's where he allegedly eluded to deep heat in sensitive areas. Some bloke called Washington remembers hearing it and has come forward, after hearing of the case in 2013, some 25 years later, I can't remember what was on the radio this morning let alone 25 years ago, if he was a sound tech, or editor, or any other employee of either the club or the station then fair enough, but just a listener, surely this is flimsy at best, surely Radio Stoke would have kept it in archives, not sure though as this was pre digital, surely more would have come forward, surely the interviewer himself would recall it. Flimsy at best. Inadmissible. CASE DISMISSED.

Not sure when digital radio came in point I am making is that if it wasn't digital then it is highly unlikely that Radio Stoke would be able to produce a copy of the interview. The broadcast was between 86 & 88 and so were the alleged offences. Not sure where we re at with the trial. Must be close to a conclusion.

Pre-digital as in before man evolved with fingers on his hands. BTW trial has been adjourned until Late September because of apparent new evidence that contradicts Fox's statement. Wonder if this is the mystery radio phone-in that is being investigated by prosecuting solicitors?

I hope Fox's legal team tear this evidence to shreds, FFS I can hardly remember anything on P & G the day after, let alone some 25 years later, seems this guy ( 70 yrs old ) is just trying to make a name for himself. I'd be asking him what was the score, who were we playing, who was the interviewer etc etc etc. Just dunna add up to me.

Problem for Fox's legal team are that answers to that line of questions are very easily prepared for. They would need to trip him up with a question, pertaining to that time, that he can't prepare for. If I was defending Foxy I would ask him the questions you suggest to make him appear to have a photographic memory. Then, after congratulating him on his powers of memory recall, steam in with a question about the weather, politics or something that a memory like his should have no difficulty in re-counting. When he can't, give a knowing look and slight shoulder shrug to the jury. Do you have any more tips for his legal team Shangsy?

One more tip for them, and this will result in gasps of horror and cries of "case dismissed" from the public galley. " Mr Washington, we have listened to your remarkably clear and concise memories of listening to praise and grumble after the Stoke game, but I put it to you Sir that you are a VALE FAN. And that you have made this all up due to your hatred and jealousy of your more illustrious neighbours.."

Yeah, clearly only Vale fans would have a problem with a group of grown men pinning down a minor and sticking a finger up his arse.
