Hi Everyone,
I'm writing this in the hope that there may be someone out there who can help me.
It's my Mum's funeral next Friday and the last thing she watched before she got too ill was "Marvellous" which she (and I) thought was fantastic! She was an avid supporter in her younger days and we always talked about how the mighty Potters were doing right up to the end.
I'd like to play the version of "Enjoy yourself - It's Later Than You Think" that appeared in the film at the end of her funeral (as it sums her attitude to life perfectly) and I wondered if any of you fine people possessed an audio copy of the actual recording.
Unfortunately I can't use the sound from the film itself as it's got dialogue and sound effects playing over it.
The amazing Linda Bennett (A top Stokie whom lots of you will know) is doing my mum's service and she is trying to locate a copy as well but I hope she won't mind if I come on here to ask for your help?
Is there anyone there who can help? - I'd be pathetically grateful for any assistance!

Is this the one you are looking for? No, it's the ukulele version that was actually recorded for "Marvellous" I've tried all the usual avenues but have drawn a blank for far. Thanks for the suggestion though - appreciate it

Hope it works out for you

I actually PM'd Malcolm when Marvellous came out and asked him if he could find out if the version in the film was available as I thought it was a great version myself. Unfortunately the producer got back to Malcolm and told him that due to music rights restrictions it wouldn't be possible That was back when the film was first released so things may have changed now. Sorry to hear about your mum by the way. RIP

BBC Radio Stoke have had a ukulele ensemble play live a couple of times - might be worth asking them if they can get in touch for you. Maybe they could record you a version.
Good luck - and condolences
