Anyone who went yesterday must have noticed how much we missed mama. Cresswell, Gallagher and fuller were all on together (like many have requested) and to be honest we were dire. I dont remember their keeper having a single save to make.
The sooner mama is back the better.

The best non-striking striker in the league.

he was sorely missed yesterday,
we struggle without him, with no1 to hold the ball upfront

In objective terms he's certainly not good enough for a top 6 side in our division but he is absolutely essential to the way that Pulis plays. We don't play through central midfield and we haven't got the pace in wide areas to play behind full backs. In open play we knock it up into the general area of Mama and try and build from there. If Mama doesn't play i.e. not on the park, as per saturday or when his performance is poor, as per Burnley, then we really struggle to create anything.

Mama hold the ball up? were you watching against burnley, spent most of the time chasing the ball after it bounced off him/miscontrolled by him. The missing link was liam yesterday. I personally hope that Pulis goes out and gets another striker this week and plays Bothroyd instead. Sidibe=hopeless

I hate the way our entire system of play is forged around incorporating this one distinctly average player into the team, meaning we're entirely dependent on him when we now have the midfield to keep it on the floor and fuck him off onto the bench for when we need to resort to route one.
