Build a structure to enclose the ground and wrap it in the LED film that Bayern's Allianz Stadium uses. Sounds great. Only trouble is our club struggle to give the go ahead for a lick of paint. Makes me laugh when the club go on about bringing in all these Barcelona type players yet we still have hurricane Charlie blowing through every game.

The stadium we have is decent enough, why would they waste the money for something they already have, 45000, you're dreaming. Didn't suggest we would get that many but we could get more than we do if there was somewhere for them to go. The stadium would be ok if it was finished but it will always be in the wrong place for access. Its not worth the money it would cost, or the effort for that matter, I don't think the club would attract to many more (needs researching obvs) unless we regularly finished top 6 or higher, which as we both know is very unlikely to happen, if there is obvious demand for a few more seats fair enough stick a few more seats on the new one, but to build a completely new one seems a bit much, also where would the parking be if you put it on the old site?

Parking would be in the same place it was at the Vic. The whole point of it being there is it is on public transport routes including a railway station within walking distance. Fully understand that it won't happen as fans aren't that important to the finances anymore. We do have the potential to attract more but only a few as access is all but impossible because there are no public transport links. Too late to correct but it was a bad decision with dodgy planning permissions and reasoning. The main beneficiary apprared to be St Modwens. All sorts of promises of community use were made at the time which have never come to fruition. It was a tongue in cheek suggestion but also a sad reflection on those who mis-govern this City.

Theres loads of building land in Crewe. Build a new stadium there then I wouldn't have to travel as far to the game

We've had the same problems for years.
Souless/Unfinished/Tatty stadium Cramped concourse Small Toilets Terrible PA system Poor Food Bad parking/Rail Connections Absurd wind blowing through the ground Away fans in a bad location
Not including issues re: Ticketing/The ticket office Any of the various 'membership schemes' the club has tried Communication from the club in any form
And the club still cant manage to even mitigate any of these issues, its not like they are trying to find the higgs boson. I enjoy giving praise where its due but im sorry the club get more things wrong than right.

You are quite right mate but the facts are fixing the above would require, as well as money, a lot of effort. As the people working at the club are a bunch of lazy arsed fuckers none of the above will be fixed.

The decision to move from the Vic was absolutely the right thing to do for several reasons. The impecunious state of SCFC in the mid 90s would have led to Vic renovation being a disaster.
One thing is for sure though despite it never happening..... if we had renovated the Vic everyone would be moaning saying we should have moved.
