I think Man Ure might go in for him. He might even be a man Ure fan? Arsenal wouldn't be the right move for him in my opinion because I'm not sure if they'd know where to play him.
If he does leave Liverpool Berahino wouldn't be a bad replacement for them, and Benteke would also be good for them of they've got the money.

Hes done very very well considering his age. HOWEVER You just know he will get a big fat pay-rise, expectations will rise and he will never reach his lofty potential. I think we can all see it coming. The huge amounts of money is becoming a curse on the game and ruining good players whilst lining their pockets with money they have not actually earned If you think it's bad just wait till the big TV money comes in.

I think little Raheem is getting a touch big for his britches. Did you see that documentary on Liverpool when Brenda took over ? Sterling was too big for his britches back then and got more than a bollocking from the manager. Seems he hasn't changed. He's gonna fuck up his career if he isn't careful. If he does the business for Liverpool the rewards will come, whether it's Anfield or another club. Great players let their performances do the talking Saw that, While on tour BR told RS if he heard that again he'd be on the next plane home.

It doesn't look great for Liverpool. Unable to keep their biggest names, their loyal captain would prefer to play over in the states and now this. Hardly a great selling message for their summer targets! I wouldn't be surprised if Gerrard has something to do with this. What's to say this jumped up little tart looked at Gerrard and thought 'greatest player to never win the league, I don't want to be that too'. Naturally he's got high estimation of himself...

When players leave Southampton etc to ' better themselves' by playing at a 'higher level', the football world seems to think that this is understandable. Irrespective of the money involved, why should Sterling's desire to leave Liverpool for the same reasons be any different? Isn't that why he wentto Liverpool in the first place.

Sadly, because every other pundit is an ex Liverpool player or a fan. The bias is scarey at times. I think Liverpool might be best to cash in on him. If Man Citeh, Arsenal and Chelsea are as interested as the media claim they are taking a big risk not taking the money. I'd be surprised if he pushed on to be one of the top players in the world and worth much more than they 30 million odd they could probably get from auctioning him off to those lot.

I think he's a really good player and would definitely improve Man City. I reckon he'd cost them ~£30m though and I'm not convinced there aren't better players about for that money.
The media seem to really have it in for him and have done so since he first came on the scene. The amount he got laid into for having a week off mid season was incredible and the same when he was pictured taking nitrous oxide. They've deviated from the "build them up, knock them down" template that they usually apply to players who will be in the mix for England for the foreseeable future and gone straight in with the boot with Sterling.

Vastly VASTLY overrated player in my opinion.
Still haven't seen anything to go along with his billing as England's future superstar. He fails in a shite Liverpool side. He'd be lucky to grace The Real Madrid B team on his current form.

I was thinking the same. Like how dare he put in a transfer request. It happens all the time. I find it quite amusing to be honest. Liverpool as usual thinking they're a better prospect than they are and being made to look small time. I also think he's a greedy twat though. I'd be happy for him to get stuck there and have this saga drag on into next season. Alas, rather than fuck him off like they should, I think they'll increase their offer to 150k per week and keep him for another 2 years before he hands in another transfer request and the whole thing starts over again.

He's the next Shaun Wright Phillips.
I cant wait for the day that one of the big clubs takes a stance with these jumped up little turds and issues a statement along the lines of...
"We have decided not to sack [insert toerag's name] for his gross misconduct in publicly criticising his employer. However, he won't be kicking a ball again for this club for the remaining 2 years of his contract.
WE have decided to run HIS contract out . We will of course continue to meet our financial responsibilities under his current contract but he will not play for this club again. This will provide him with plenty of time to ponder his actions and also to consider how much he will be worth per week after 2 years of not playing professional football.
We would though like to take this opportunity to wish [insert toerag's name] all the best for the future when he eventually moves on to another club."

Cant fault the lad, people calling him are clearly jealous. Wants to win trophies, knows he wont win them with Liverpool so will look to move on, if it was about the money he would have took the pay increase when it was offered. Probably the best young talent England have Might go in work tonight and tell the boss "I'm tired!" He's a twat

Love this Jeff, really hit's the nail on the head. Unfortunately I can hear the response now from all the bleeding heart, equal opportunity, left wing, anti-big bad boss, do gooders who will rush to defend the "poor" downtrodden individual. I also can't help feeling that there is more to the Stirling story than we are privy to; is there something going on at Liverpool?

He probably won't play football I don't think that's true, he'd get into Man City's side on the right today. And he'd stand a good chance of doing the same in Chelsea's side too.

He's not good enough often enough mate to hold down a place in either of those sides , lots of examples of such situations , Moses for one

I really like Sterling as a player, but he isn't a great goalscorer! Despite this he often is the main attacking threat for Lpool. This season I think he in many ways has had to carry a goalshy Lpool on his own young shoulders! Without Sterling hardly any goal threat from Lpool at all the way I see it! With a goalscorer like a fit Sturridge around him I think he is great, but right now too much responsability on him the way I see it.
