Just seen on ESPN an interview with Drogba and he was saying that he will not be at Chelsea next season and instead he has already put pen to paper with an undisclosed Prem club on a pay par play basis, which suits all concerned, and to quote him " excited about new challenge with a club that are real contenders for silverware and euro qualifying". I can not down load it yet, but it will be on later, maybe on sky, but look at the interview, it was at a training facility, and it was 100% deffo Clayton Woods, you can see Hanchurch Hills in the background...Absolutely NO DOUBT...

OOOOOOOOOOhhhhh Drogba is a Stokie and he comes from Cote D'Ivore
He told Jose to stuff it -- I want to play some more
He came to us from Chelsea, and this is what he said!
Ricardo was much better I'm retiring instead.....

Getting excited TSN have just mentioned it on Soccer Central. Drogba is staying in England on a pay as you play deal with an unnamed premier league club. Pisser if we pull this off, mind you Pulis might be taking him to the Baggies to team up with Carlton Cole. What does the training ground look like in Rio?

Mark Hughes is just a god in my opinion. Seems he carries clout with Barca and Chelsea . Lets hope this goes through, though looking at Drogba it seems a done deal. Wonder what his P & P deal will be worth...50K a game I reckon.

I'd fancy him to make more of an impact than Michael Owen.

I would have thought another London club was likely? There's a 'Bojan needs another op' thread on SL&P. Are we in April 1st territory time or is March 31st just seeing a bit of Fergie time?

Is Drogba 36? Could still do a job for Stoke. However it is the 1st April!

Is Drogba 36? Could still do a job for Stoke. However it is the 1st April! As in 365 - 1st day of the month? Some serious transfer news would be good (although I didn't believe the Shearer to manage Newcastle post on 1st April a while back - which turned out to be true)

This is deffo true. It's just been announced on the BBC World Service. Told you all. I just seen on the BBC also, I must admit on ESPN I wasn't 100% sure, but the BBC actually mentioned Stokeand a deal worth £60K a game, which I still think is good business for us.

This is getting a bit of traction now and seems to be appearing on various global news sites. Not sure many would be able to identify Hanchurch from Canada. What we need to know though is can he play the Mama role?
