Begovic still led Sky Sports Transfer News when I looked. Didn't look any further mind.

if De Gea goes to Madrid then they will obviously need a new keeper and Bego is probably the best outside of the Champions Leaguey sides. & we have a great replacement already and Bego has 1 year left on contract
Doesn't take the best journalism ever to write a story on this therefore.

As long as the boys understands if he signs for them his life as a storm city player will have to be stck from the official record on his return he will be a pariah lower than ramsay and his name will never be spoken again
As for an exchange we absolutely want none one their contaminated shit gracing our fair club only heaps of their cash laundered throgh at Lesst two banks

The fact that people are believing the Sun makes me laugh in itself.
Them fuckers know about as much as I do. Fuck all.
They must of ignored the fact that should De Gea leave, then Valdes will step in. Not a shabby replacement IMO.

Why on earth would they want Begovic?
If De Gea leaves (hes waiting to see if they get top 4 imo) then Valdes is there.

Personally, I wouldn't begrudge Bego a move abroad or to Man Utd, or Chelsea, or Man Citeh for that matter. The guy is a great keeper, despite having a relatively poor season... I really don't get this "poor season" stuff. He's made hardly any big errors. Maybe conceded a few that he could have saved and saved lots he shouldn't have. Very consistent and trustworthy. That's a good season for a top level keeper in my view. Sent from my GT-I8190N using proboards

De Gea to Madrid, Lloris to Man Utd, Begovic to Tottenham is my thinking. This scenario is how I can imagine this playing out.

I don't believe for one minute that Man Utd see Valdes as any more than cover. you may be right but i think in that case then if De Gea moves and they still see Valdes as merely the number 2 then i reckon they'll end up needing 2 keepers as i can't see him staying if he's going to just sit on the bench for another season...he's far too good to be doing that, especially given the fact that in the last day or 2 Del Bosque has more or less said he should move on because he wants to pick him for Spain but can't if he's not getting games at Man Utd. to have a keeper like Valdes playing 0 minutes for your team (even in cup games) and being restricted to just a few games with the U21s is fucking criminal! he's still only 33 as well.

Selective memory is a great thing. If Begovic had let in the goal that Loris conceded against Bojan, we would be eating Begovic' s liver with some Flava beans and a nice Chianti to wash it down with.

I can see this as a very strong possibility. He wouldn't have to move house and they're a massive club and he deserves a move to a big club. Can't see Hernandez coming here so for me £10mil would be sufficient. Those who think that Valdez is a replacement for De Gea are dreaming. At the age he's at he's lucky he's even there. Bego will, in my opinion, leave this summer and good luck to him wherever he goes

As people have said, Arsenal are in the worst position keeper wise. I can see Bego going for around 7million and people getting mardy about it but realistically with one year left that's all he's worth? Wish him all the best, great servant. Just hope he doesn't leave for nothing next year, we could do with the money to re-invest.
