Horrible game with a great result, groaned when Adam came on but was wrong to do so. Zonz MOTM and thought Wilson did well.
Everton next.

This was a match we would have lost at the start of the season. Great 3 points, scrappy, but excellent result.

Had potential to be an arse of a game and proved to be just that. However unlike previous games such as villa and Leicester we got the result. Ps to the lad who was giving me and my son stick for leaving at the 87th minute as I told you I was leaving early to see your missus but wish I hadn't as she was shit????

Matches like this are tough. On paper, it should have been an easy win, but there were so few clear chances. The record will show that we had 17 shots to Hull's 1 (and their 1 chance was a good one), but it could so easily have fizzled out as 0-0 and we'd all have felt it was two points thrown away. As it was, that's a really valuable 3 points. Today was the sort of game you need to win - and we did!

I knew crouch would of scored if he came on. He's so much better than diouf But he's cocking slow. We usually look better with more pace, but Hughesy was right this time. It wasn't working so the directness of Crouchy and Adam worked perfectly. I thought Diouf sh8owed some flashes of better control than he has done before. I'm still hoping he'll come good for us.

grinded it out but would take it every week "Take it every week?" You must be a glutton for punishment. Hull offered nothing going forward, but most Oatcakee's were screaming for the full time whistle to blow when 5 minutes of injury time were added. Goes to show what a mare of a game it was. I can't figure it out why Stoke go so deep in the last minutes of most home games, especially against the lower teams. "Attack is the best form of defense".Attack...attack...attack, attack, attack!

As already posted, Wilson played very well, best I've seen him. The defence was solid all round. Nzonzi was brilliant lots of great tackles. Adam was good, almost scored and put the cross over for Crouch to score. Shame about Ireland, we've lost another player to injury. Is this going to be a run of games for Charlie? I don't think the Ref will be watching MOTD tonight
Everton next and that will be a different proposition, they aren't as bad as their position suggests

As a Stoke fan, if I was in attendance I would have definitely left by now. Terrible display by both teams so far (first half). Being the home side, the onus is on Stoke to at least make this a better spectacle for the supporters who have bothered to turn up. forked out half a day's pay or more to watch it. Please Stoke, do me a favour. Shut that Trevor Francis up. What a Stoke hater he is! Can't stand the man. lawrieleslie That's what I was thinking of putting in that line myself, but thought twice about it because I didn't want to make the poor fans who were watching the dross being served up feeling any worse than they already did. Hey, but now you've mentioned it, I couldn't agree more. In fact, I reckon they ought to dock 'em half a week's wages when they don't bother to turn up (or may as well have not turned up). Here's hoping the Everton game is a better spectacle for all concerned... especially the long suffering paying fans.

Moses did a bit of diving there. Hey thedeadlyshart, Your avatar looks more animated than the real thing. A well paid cardboard cut-out. It's definitely got the right stance.
