Tim Gallimore stated on Radio Stoke last friday that it is a first come first served situation regarding season tickets in the boothen. If we sell out we sell out,the next option for the cheaper seats is then to move over to the sentinel stand. If the boothen sells out for every home game then thats great and it,s going to be one hell of a intimidating atmoshere when we attack the boothen in the second half, bring it on!!!!!!!!!

Block 25 Row 35...Is block 25 the one in the corner next to the sentinel stand?
Not really arsed, just glad that I got 5 together (for me and me mates!) fairly high up.
If you're buying tickets for other people make sure you know their address, postcode, telephone number, favourite colour, penis size etc as they'll ask you for all this info. Luckily the other people I was buying for are already on the computer system so I was able to provide the lady at the ticket office with enough info in order to find them on there.
She said they'd sold about 2,100-2,200 but it does seem that the upper parts of the Boothen are selling fast. If you want a few together then my advice is get down there as fast as you can!

Finchey, we may have only sold 2,100 when you went down but that does not mean it might not be close to a sell out. Existing Season Ticket holders have until June to reclaim their seats (but only at the cheap price until 15 April).
Those seats cannot be sold until June - and I would expect a few hundred at the very most to be unclaimed. If there are, say, 2,500 Boothen ST holders then we could indeed be close to a sell out.

so right, me and mar mate are existing season ticket holders but next season, we will be joined by two other NEW season ticket holders, so what you are saying is that we wont be able sit with them, is the right?
saying, we do want sit next to them, will we have to pay higher prices or what, we're hoping to go down this weekend or early next week

Middo, All I am saying is that we could be closer to a sell out than finchy thinks.
If I was planning to sit with mates who will be new ST holders I would certainly ring the Club office tomorrow morning - the longer you leave it the less likely you are to get the seats you want - that's common sense. Having sorted out which block of 4 seats are available then you can book online if you can't get to the ground. Ask the ticket office is there is any way to book on line but send a cheque if things are getting really tight as far as available seats are concerned.
The simple fact is that if the club gets anywhere near the 10,000 discounted STs they are aiming for, the Boothen will effectively be sold out by the deadline - and people who want four seats together, will have to apply long before 15 April.

It will be a sell out FULL STOP
the boothen already has about 3,000 season ticket holders, the majority of the new ones will be in the boothen end.
its not rocket science

will do that fornside, so will the ticket office reserve seats for us then

Middo, all you can do is ask the ticket office. I suggested you might want to pay by cheque as if you book on line and pay by credit or debit card you will incur charges whereas you wouldn't if you paid by cheque.
Ring the office tomorrow and ask their advice.

Follow "Pricey's Helpful Hints" and rob a bank. Otherwise no, they wouldn't let you have a season ticket without paying. You could go for a payment plan over 9 months or whatever it is but that would end up costing 20-30 quid more I think.

You can but ask - and there is an installment plan which might help
|
|
|
Post by Lakeland Potter on Mar 11, 2004 18:49:07 GMT
You could buy three outright and one on installaments - that way you could split the cost of the plan between four of you

And if block 19 is sold out to season ticket holders then thats the way the cookie crumbles, they'll probably make another block the pay on the day, although why people who go to ten of more games a season wont buy a ST is beyond me

Well Rex,
Have a little think about it and get back to me when you have realised what the reason behind that is.
Shouldn't take you that long.

I'm asking you to work out why I won't get a season ticket for next season (unless we are around the play-offs on the 14th of April) even though I'll go to at least 12 games 'oh clever one'.
