Some great memories on here, Leeds 3-2, Meadow Lane, Luton 4-4, Coventry away, Valencia, but mine would probably be Bolton at Wembley, running the London Marathon the same day and seeing my team win 5-0 in an FA cup semi-final, something that hadn't been done in 80 years was a special day.

0 - 7 vs Brum.
We all take the Premier league for granted and it would be good for us as a gentle reminder as to how good we've now got it. I think we all forget sometimes.

Depends on what you're going back for. If it is simply to relive one game exactly as it was, then for me the fa cup semi final v Bolton is the obvious one.
If it is to go back, do things differently and hope to change the result then there are loads aren't there.
Semi finals from the 70's, the play off game v Leicester, the fa cup final, Valencia away just to name a few.

Cardiff away; watched it on the big screen at Stoke; and the announcements 'please keep off the grass', oh yeah, some chance; can remember, some chubby lad at the front of the stoke fans running along doing the Jimmy Greenhoff style goal celebration and having an absolute mental; how I envied him!!

If ever you need a reality check that's the one,or losing 2-0 away at Grimsby on a freezing afternoon, and being outplayed.A big piece of humble pie those sort of games.

Three games for me I think (going to put them order)
1. vs Villa at home 3-2 win, first home game in the Premier League. Has to go down as one of the best mentals ever when Mama scored in last minute 2. vs Bolton in the Semi Final of the FA Cup. Never though I would see Stoke play at Wembley in the FA Cup. We were superb that day 3. vs Man Utd in 1991. I was only 10 so didn't understand it as much as do now

My one big regret is missing that Bolton semi-final. If I could go back to a game it would be Coventry or Leicester in the promotion season.

1. League cup semi, second replay at Old Trafford, what a night in front of arguably the largest following of Stoke fans in our history. 2. LC Final 3. Santos at the vic, just so I can say I once saw Pele. 4. Various Wembley visits. 5. Real Madrid at the Vic 6. Seeing Eusabio in a Stoke shirt 7. Dynamo Kiev at the Vic with Lev Yashin in goal 8. Stans last match.
Great memories.

The last game at the Vic v West Brom. Fantastic atmosphere for the match and the lap of honour, then that surreal quietness as it sank in to everyone that they'd never stand here again.

Meadow lane for me. Those final, frantic few moments of that game are completely unforgettable. Then a strange one. The game against Man City and were down to ten men and Beattie scored just before half time. Ten minutes from the end of that game, there was a spontaneous feeling around the ground that the team needed us, and right until the ref blew for full time we were as one. It makes the hairs on the back of my head stand up just thinking about that strange, tremendous atmosphere. OS. Everything I was going to post in reply to this thread. That roar with 10 mins to go is still the greatest act of support and defiance I have witnessed. We were Stoke that day.

The week i knew it was going to happen, the two home 3-2's against Southampton and Scunthorpe. Can't remember which was Tuesday or Friday but the Scunny game, 2-0 down (Paterson got at least one) then when we came back..... Hon mentions to the arse game when van persie got himself sent off, the spurs game when Gomes was crying and puking, man city (beattie and "the roar"), 3-2 v villa, 2-1 utd steino, peterborough away in semi of autoglass (i think!), Brum riot at St Andrews, could go on, but couldn't we all?! Scunny was the Friday night game.

Even though I went, and you HAD to go on the coaches, it has to be the one and only Cardiff away in the playoffs.

The last game at the Vic v West Brom. Fantastic atmosphere for the match and the lap of honour, then that surreal quietness as it sank in to everyone that they'd never stand here again. I loved the singing that day. We did that one Millwall do, where everyone shouts out a cheer & carries it as long as poss & starts it again in their own time. When the whole crowd does it, it builds into an almighty wail. Why don't we do this all the time, it suits us!?!

The first game I ever went to at the Vic. Can't remember who we were playing as I was only very young but all I remember was the opposition attacking and one of Stokes defenders running after their player and then falling over flat on his face in his pursuit.Think they scored from it as well. Not an historic game but it would be nice to back to where it all began.

Completely selfish, but my owd man (RIP) decided to get married on the day Stoke played Vale at home in 1992 (October)
Having spent months hoping for a last minute 'Big Match' on ITV intervention, or even the wedding being cancelled, I accepted the inevitable but spent large parts of the afternoon 'going for fresh air' and listening to the game in my car, including Steinos winner - had a proper mental on a pub car park, some fellow Stokies at the do in the pub saw me and came out as well - it was a great day!
But I would love to go back and watch it....or failing that the return leg at Fail Park where Gleggy and Steino pretty much sealed promotion and left the plucky Valeites in 3rd.
They have never mentioned they got 90 points and didnt go up did they?

To be honest. Any game at the Vic. I wouldn't really care as long as I could have a few pints at the Terrace walk down the hill, past the second hand motorbike shop, through the alleyway across the kids play area and then along the terrace street to the corner by the Stoke end. Then along past the entrance to the Boothen end. Up the steps, wait in the queue , through the turnstyles and walk up the stairway, turn right and then into the middle of the Boothen to stand in my 'place' Check out how many they had brought away. Spark up a No6 and savour the anticipation and atmosphere.
I'd give an awful lot to do all that again

Quarter final at Hull in 71. Just because it got us to the first semi final of the 20th century, and was the prelude to some great times.

Cardiff away in the playoffs, except this time I'd buy a ticket and actually go to the match. Still my biggest Stoke related regret to this day. I'd been to the previous 2 playoff away disasters and after the home defeat, Cardiff's ridiculously good form (something like 11 consecutive wins) and my general disillusionment with our yearly playoff capitulation I decided to miss this one. Never mind the extremely long trip on a weeknight for almost certain disappointment. I nearly even missed the big screen due to my absolute disillusionment at the time.
Needless to say it became one of the most fantastic, unexpected and downright important nights in our history. Who knows where we'd be now if we'd lost and the Icelanders had lost yet more interest and pulled out? Coates at that time hadn't yet made his bet365 money and supporter opinion probably wouldn't have allowed him back at that time due to the emotions of the 90s still being raw and Coates being blamed by most for us being in that division in the first place.

Arsenal semi Hillsborough 1971, one minute before the penalty. Alter refs watch, he blows for full time, we are in the final! Would save that miserable journey back to Nottingham when I was student in a carriage with some Arsenal fans who thought it was a memorable match!
