Probably reading too much into this but if we were really trying for Sinclair then do you think it's because we have been told that there is no chance of getting Moses on a permanent? Hope not. It's because we need an Assaidi replacement.

I can't see Chelsea playing hard ball too much on a player completely surplus to requirements.
You'd imagine any half decent offer would be enough.

Either stoke would need to give him a big signing on fee, or like what Sunderland did with Kenwyne jones is that they give Moses a big cheque for all the wages he would lose by signing for Stoke instead of staying at Chelsea. That could be around £2mill alone never mind the transfer fee and agents fees and sponsorship deals that could be affected due to him not been at Chelsea
