To be Honest, I have to laugh at how far Andrew Mitchell took the whole saga. The whole thing reeks of Naivety on Mr Mitchells part. If he had just admitted it straight out or even kept schtum for a while, it would have been long forgotten and he would have been able to salvage his reputation. Then again, if those rozzers had any common sense and flexibility about them, instead of being right fuckers with shite people skills, the whole thing wouldn't have happened in the first place Alas, the only winners are the Sun and the Lawyers. Again.

Instead, it's dragged on for two years, perpetuated the impression that the Tories are the Nasty Party of privileged toffs and even had leading Torygraph writers condemning him," For a senior minister to call the people protecting him and his colleagues “plebs” would be no small matter. It would confirm every ghastly suspicion that the Tory party is led by people who really do believe themselves born to rule and therefore regard the police as no more than proletarian shock-troops at their beck and call. It would be a great scandal". Matthew D'Ancona. Idiot.

He picked the wrong example and dismissed his own sides blunder as innocuous. In doing so he becomes as hypocritical as the point he is trying to prove.

Compared to Mitchell's comments aimed at an on duty police offcier it's fair to say they are innocuous surely? In fact there's no comment on Thornberry's photo is there?

So you posting shit memes about stories you don't even know. Not like you. She posted the pic of the flags with. "Image from #Rochester" on the day of the Rochester by-election. Make your own interpretation of what she means but the labour party and miliband and were not happy with her snobbery. The difference between her and Mitchell (and mellow) is the two blokes were arguably provoked still not acceptable and endemic of the political classes where she chooses to attack the working class voters her party says it represents.

It took the Sun (Murdoch Tory rag as you know) to make something of it. Incidentally the author of the meme is dyslexic like you and you're not thick are you?

But it is offensive maybe not to you but certainly to the house owner, people of Rochester and others who like to fly a flag from their house.
