That's pretty fair, we are certain to come under the hammer here and could cop a real belting in all truth. If so we will need to just take it on the chin and move on. They are a shadow of previous Liverpool sides.

Anyone know the price for the Stoke win? On the stats it has to be worth a tiny punt

Haven't a clue what the team should be as no idea who is fit/well. I'd imagine Hughes will leave it is late as possible to pick the side. As such don't expect a solid defensive performance. On the upside Rodgers will struggle to guess our line up and maybe even our shape. Balotelli out so presume Lambert and Borini will play. Sterling in behind them or maybe out wide. Liverpool's full backs look dopey and their centre back pairing doesn't work. I'd play Adam and Bojan if possible. Think it will be a scruffy game.

I suppose Arnie will have to start. Last chance for him to prove himself to me! If 'Arnie' went to the manager asking why he wasn't in the team, this is the ideal time to prove on the pitch why he should be! If he can cut it for Austria, time to do it at club level!

This isn't the Liverpool the Prem are used to, a pale imitation. However there is a job to be done, and I am confident that the eleven LMH puts out will be focussed. A point tomorrow will give the lads a massive lift for Tuesday, they are more than capable of getting a result, we are also however capable of shooting ourselves in the foot again! Heads up, mind on the job and there are points to be taken.

On the stats it has to be worth a tiny punt I have them at 4/1 4/1 to achieve our first ever top flight win away against Liverpool in over 150 years of trying seems, how do I put it kindly, to offer little value. I'd keep your money in your pocket if I were you folks

Liverpool are absolutely shit. Especially if gerrard plays. The points are there to be taken in this game with a proper performance like Tottenham away. With that terrible performance last week they have to get something today in my view. Anyone who saw Liverpool struggling against ludogorets in mid week will have seen just how bad they are

Sentinel seem to be guessing/hinting we'll go in Bojan-less, with Crouchy up top, Diouf wide, and with a midfield containing both Whelan and Sidwell. Seems very..er..'pragmatic' considering how awful they've looked this season/
Begovic Bardsley-Wilson-Shawcross-Pieters Sidwell-Whelan Walters-N'Zonzi-Diouf Crouch

My team is: Bego (last chance saloon) Bardsley(our best RB) or Cameron if B not available Shawcross(our best CB) Wilson (our 2nd best CB, whether you like him or not) Pieters (our best LB) Muniesa (hopefully someone has been coaching him on his defensive errors) Walters (our highest goal scorer and hardest trier) Sidwell (improving and doesn't deserve dropping) N'Zonzi (needs to buck his ideas up - could be displaced by Sidwell with Whelan stopping back) Moses Adam (hopefully raring to have a go at his old team) Bojan (hopefully another step forward in his development) Diouf (hopefully recovered from his international break hangover) Subs to include: Whelan, Muniesa, Crouch, Adam, Crouch, Shenton, Butland, Arnie, Ireland Amended above in the light of injuries/fitness. (but I'm losing track of who's fit) I'm concerned Stoke put on a "good show" but as usual come away from Anfield with nothing and deluded Liverpool fans again think they are still a "top team".

Not sure who is out but whatever team we pick will be ok. There are plenty of players in the squad of equal ability especially in midfield. Even Assaidi would be ok to add a bit of pace. As long as Shawcross is playing and we have two reasonable full backs then we should be ok.

My team would be; Butland Bardsley, shawcross, Wilson, pieters Cameron, sidwell, whelan, Muniesa Walters, crouch, Strip the team of as much ability as possible and go with a limited team of work horses. Its what our supporters like best. There is no room for talent at stoke city. lol like it!

Good to see Shenton getting his chance with the first team. Looks like Bardsley hasn't made it, so GCam was the only choice at right-back. I would have personally played Crouch up top and Diouf in behind as opposed to Diouf up top and Arnie in behind as Crouch can be a focal point and draw their centre backs out, creating space in behind for Diouf, Bojan and Walters to exploit on the counter. I also would have gone with Whelan in front of the back 4 as I feel he offers more protection for our flagging back line than Sidwell does.
