Hate Mason as ref, biased. In what way, it was 2 yellows deserved to be off, I was annoyed at the time he didn't have a word for the first one, but the ref got um right.

Once Crouch went did anyone else think I don't want extra time? Just me then. But feel so guilty now!

Who says we have an 'impenetrable wall'? The general consensus that we're units at the back, not anymore we're not, the defensive side of our identity has buggered off somewhere at the moment. What does 'units at the back mean' please?

So sad. The REF was terrible. Crouch shoudln't have been given that 1st yellow, but... the 2nd challenge could have been a straight red anyway, so... We got back into it in the 2nd half and deserved extra time/replay whatever that might follow... Agreed

We had them on the rack but Crouch stupidity and Masons complete and utter bias proved a bridge to far - our defence is a fuckin shambles though it has to be said...

First half awful much better second half but to be fair they were by far the better team. Saying that we did have chances to win it and would have bar Crouch getting the red card and he should have known better both silly challenges.

You couldn't be more wrong: - First Yellow he elbowed the guy in the face and the second he had studs up, both yellow and cost us the game. I can only think he fancies a holiday or is on a promise with Abby, he has previous on this as well!

Arnautovic was my MoM I guess. Walters not equally good in the 2nd half. Adam was an injection. Crouch a disaster. Our back four, well... Bego made some match aaving saves when they were 2-1 up, great as always. Bojan and Diouf not as good as I've hoped for, at least Diouf scored though and almost equalised to 3-3 too. I wonder when NZonzi ever will learn to stop playing the ball behind the player - he does it all the time. Harder passes and in front of the player please!
Sad to lose, but... West Ham we can beat.

Southampton were mesmerising in the 1st half and bewildered Stoke; few teams would have lived with them.
Stoke showed some fight in the 2nd half and had the chances to score but the finishing was again woefully poor.
Fair result.
I feel a lot better than I did at half time, surely Stoke can't keep missing the target all season?
I suggest MH does his half time talk on Saturday before the match starts.

No idea what Crouch was thinking. Has he ever been sent off before? He got sent off playing for spurs in the champions league I think......first half if I recall correctly...

got what we deserved tonight Stupidiest post of the night and you think we deserved anything out of that ?? ? we gave them a 2 goal start we didnt have anything to offer in the first half, it was man against boys at times. Crouch deserved the 2 yellows which gave them a man advantage and the free kick for their 3rd goal we did well in the second half and did really well to get back in the game but a seasoned pro like Crouch knows better than to lead with an elbow and then go in with his foot up like that seconds after his first booking, you cannot give a team that is playing well and is as full of confidence as Southampton are at the minute a 2 goal start and expect anything out of the game, as i say we got what we deserved in my opinion although i will give an honourable mention to Lee Mason whom i thought gave us nothing at all tonight, but i cannot blame him for Crouch tonight.

Should never have been a first yellow, but could have been a straight red for the second. But I was thinking of the other 85 minutes where he booked our players, gave us very little and was quite happy for them to foul us with impunity. Most biased ref every time with Stoke.

Crouch just ran into the player elbow up, not once looked at the ball Can't think of a booking we didn't deserve, maybe the Bardsley one was a little harsh but other than that, I don't think the ref was all that bad.

What does 'units at the back mean' please? It means we had individual units that made a solid, collective defensive unit. We now have a shambles Part of the problem is that we only have one good defensive midfielder in Whelan.
